Chapter 11: The studio

After Sam gives me his number Hunter heads over and asks what me and Sam were just talking about. Sam just smiled and he looked at me.
"Oh, he just told me to make myself at home." I say to Hunter. He knew I was lying. But he decided to go along with it anyways. Hunter shows me around and after he takes me into his studio. His tour bus was huge. But when we go into his studio he shut the door after him and sat down and started plucking a few strings in his guitar. I noticed the familiar cords and the song was "What You Gonna Do" and I was thinking about the version with Ashley Monroe in it and when it was her turn I started to sing.
"Who cry's knowing you don't care

And who's heart is turning into stone." Hunter had a surprised look on his face and continued singing.

And when it was my turn at the end when I belted that note out he looked at me. I got nervous because I thought I sounded awful. But we both kept singing until the song was over.
"Madison, I had no clue that you could sing! Why didn't you tell me?"
"Hunter, I can't sing haha your crazy and you need to clean your ears out."
"I'm not crazy, well I am, but no I don't. You sound just like her when you sung. You were amazing! I would just like to hear your voice more often. Stop being so shy around me. I know you have an ability inside of you now you need to let it show!"
"Thank you. Do you really think so?"
"Of course, I couldn't lie to you."
A couple of seconds later it got silent and then you see the guys busting through the door clapping.
"Whoop! whoop! Look at Madison go! Your voice is so beautiful."
I didn't think I would get so much attention over a song. Maybe I shouldn't of sang in the first place.
"I agree, I knew she had something in her. She has a beautiful voice. I would like to do something with her as a matter of fact, but that has to wait until next time I'll be back. And which I'll be coming back in less than a month."
