Chapter 29: A Bump In The Road

I wake up in the middle of the night and check my phone. I look at this message my friend Faye sent me.
"Madison answer me please something bad happened!!"
"What happened?!"
"Caleb died in a car wreck last night!"
I was shocked. He was my best friend. And plus on top of that my mom messages me telling me that I lost my uncle earlier this morning. It took me a minute but I started crying so bad. I head out into the studio and closed the door. Trying to hold back the tears once more I couldn't help but loose it. Tears just kept falling and falling. Then before I knew it Hunter ran inside hugging me. I guess I was too loud.
"Madison I'm so sorry for your losses. You've been going through so much this isn't even cool. I'm here for you just let it out. I can't believe you lost two people these past couple of hours. I'm so sorry."
He sits on the couch hugging me and I had to let it out. Hunter kept assuring me that it'll be okay. I finally got a grip and stopped crying as bad as I was. I gave Hunter a big hug. I needed to give him the hug because I was hurt inside, this awful hurt that I just couldn't bare. But he made it okay. I was glad to have him with me.
