I woke up with jonnys hand on my belly. He was awake before me and was just watching me lovingly.

"I think it's a boy" he said.

"Girl"

"Wanna make a bet?" He asked raising his eyebrows

"Did you really just ask if I wanna make a bet on our baby?"

"Ye" he replied simply

"Sure why not" I said shrugging. We agreed that if it's a girl like I thought, then jonny would be changing the nappies for the first 2 months. And if it was a boy like jonny believed, then i would be changing 2 months worth of nappies. It better be a girl now.

"We need names" he said. We decided to write a list of names. Both choose 4 girl names and 4 boy names. And we would narrow it down from there.

Y/n girl list

Remi (pronounced rem-ee)
Caroline
Anne
Mia

Jonny girl list

Mackenzie
Lyra (pronounced lie-ra)
Mary
Abigail

Y/n boy name

Noah
Olly
Alfie
Connor

Jonny boy name

Jonathan Jr
Harry
Noah
Lennon

"Jonny goodman? Really?" I said raising and eyebrow

"It's a wonderful name" he said looking smug. I rolled my eyes and check the rest of the list.

"Well I think we agree on Noah for a boy" i pointed out since we both put the same. He nodded.

"So if its a boy then we call him noah."

"And for a girl, I want her to be called Lyra. I hadn't thought of that name" he nodded

"Lyra goodman. I love it" he kissed me again. We had both agreed not to find out the gender until the birth. It made it more special and exciting. As we were talking about the baby, I felt a pain in my stomach. It made me gasp in shock.

"Baby? You ok?" Jonny asked as he held my hand. I put his hand on my stomach and I felt it again

"It kicked" he said amazed. Happy tears rolled down my face as he kissed. The baby kicked again and again.

"I'm gonna take a bath. Gonna join?" I asked him. He practically leaped off the bed and ran us a bath, helping me in. I sat with my back to his stomach as he traced patterns on my stomach.

"It's so surreal" he muttered

"Isn't it just. I remember when we first started dating" I said.

"Ye, mum had never been happier. Dad just seemed confused because he thought you were a cousin of some sort" he chuckled

"Martin is wonderful but he really is clueless" he nodded and kissed my neck as we relaxed in the warm bubble bath.
