Me and jonny were driving to the Goodman household, expecting today to be a completely normal Friday night with nothing special to expect. But my face lit up the second we got onto the drive
"Fucking hell" I muttered in shock
"What?" Jonny asked parking the car. I nodded over to Adams car and where a woman was getting out looking slightly nervous
"Oh this is gonna be brilliant" he said, the pair of us with beeming smiles on our faces. We got out the car and Adam immediately rolled his eyes knowing what was about to come
"Evening puss face" i said sauntering over and giving him a big fat kiss on the cheek as he hit me away
"Ye come here puss face" jonny said doing the same as Adams girlfriend stood there awkwardly
"Hi I'm y/n. And this is jonny, the handsomer brother" I introduced
"Don't think handsomers a word" Adam said
"Did I just use it in a sentence?" I asked
"Well yes but-"
"Then it's officially a word" I said patting him on the head
"Are we going in then or just standing around in the cold?" Jonny asked
"Aren't you guys forgetting something?" Adam asked. Me and jonny looked at eachother confused and shrugged our shoulders
"Oh I don't know. Maybe my fucking niece"
"Shit on it" and then we ran to the car and tried to open the door
"Er...jonny" I muttered beginning to panick
"Shit. I've left the keys in the car" jonny said trying to peer into the car
"Are you guys kidding?" Adam asked
"Does it look like I'm fucking kidding" I raised my voice making him jump back
"I'll go get mum" and then Adam ran off. Once he left, I opened the car door, got a 5 month old lyra out of the car seat and we began to walk inside
"Oh. She's lovely" Adams girlfriend said
"Thanks. Sorry I didn't catch your name"
"Diana. My mum named me after the Princess. She had abit of an obsession" we chuckled as we walked inside the house
"There she is my little princess" Jackie said clearly directed at lyra
"Aw thanks Jackie" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek. She gratefully took the baby off me and went into the living room
"Adam said you were stuck in the car. Was uncle pussface telling porkies?" Jackie spoke to lyra
"Why would you lie just to worry your mother Adam?" I asked clipping him round the ear
"Yes. Very horrible thing to do" jonny clipped him round the ear also as we took our seats
"Er mum...have you not noticed. This is Diana" Adam introduced. Normally Jackie would be running around, crying with joy over the prospect of a wedding. Be she seems to have forgot Diana was even here
"Oh of course. Sorry love. I'm Jackie. You must be Diana" Jackie hugged her
"That's me. You have a lovely home" she compliments
"Aw how sweet of you lovely. Does anyone want a drink?" Jackie asked
"Wine please" Diana asked
"Vodka please Jackie" I asked
