(Inspired by the movie UP)
Will you still love me,
When my hair starts to grey?
Have I not loved you,
Every night and everyday?
Of this long journey we've had,
You should know what I would say.
Your beauty will remain,
Never hinting to fade.
Will you still love me,
When my skin begins to wrinkle?
My darling, I will never leave you,
Not even when your face will crinkle
Your smile will always be disarming,
Your eyes always a twinkle.
Will you still love me,
When my back begins to arc?
You will forever remain,
The brightness to my dark.
No sooner will I leave you,
Than a flame to its spark.
Will you still love me,
When I am bedridden to sickness?
Dearest, I will hold your hand,
Along the entire journey to wellness.
And if I must, I will fight off Death himself,
In an attempt to keep him from his business.
Will you still love me,
When I have passed and gone ahead?
I will still love you then,
And you will always stay close to me,
In my heart,
And in my head.
