Oh honey, but we're all paining--
just that you can't see it.
Got myself a little gauze to cover up just how deep the bullets lie.
Took the needle and the thread and tried my best to suture the widened skin, even if it stretched some more.
Used those tweezers to meticulously remove each and every one of those splinters, and then doused it out with that burning antiseptic to disinfect the wound.
If I keep going like this I'll become a nurse, tending to the injured to forget the injuries.
