Being inside quarantine, for lack of a better word, blows.

Bang Chan's been hiding it from his members just how screwed up their situation is. He didn't want to worry them by telling them about JYP. He's since alerted the company to their situation and unfortunately they won't be able to do anything. South Korea's on lockdown as well so they can't send any flights to them.

They're screwed from both ends.

He knows if he tells his members about this they're just going to panic even more. Jisung's only just managing to get more than three hours of sleep from his nightmares.

Lorraine's been kind enough with comforting as well but they've been more receptive to him as their leader. So he has to keep things under wraps for their comfort.

But of course he tends to forget his members know him just as well as he knows them. So it was only a matter of time before Minho and Changbin finally confronted him about his distance.

"Alright what's up?" Minho demands in Korean.

"We know something's going on hyung. Don't lie to us," Changbin reiterates.

The leader sighs as he motions them over. The rest of the kids are in the living room watching a K-drama with Lorraine. They should be properly distracted if Hyunjin's shouting is anything to go by.

The elders walk into the kitchen like their getting snacks and Bang Chan nearly freezes when Felix asks for a snack. Of course he nods with a smile before rushing inside.

He scans their surroundings for any stray members and folds his arms as the others enter. Changbin gives him a pointed look and Minho pins him down with his stare.

"Out with it. What's going on?" Minho demands.

Bang Chan hesitates and Changbin rests a hand on his forearm. "Hyung, whatever it is, we can handle it together like we always do. Like you always tell us we can do."

"Okay okay....JYP isn't coming." He quickly explains at the sight of their confused looks. "At least not for awhile. I managed to get a response from them the day of the announcement but by then....they already locked the country down. And now South Korea's on lockdown as well so....no one's coming for now."

"So....it's not that they're not coming, they're just delayed," Minho states.

"Well...yeah but still-"

"Hyung, if you keep thinking like that then you're gonna scare the kids when you eventually tell them," Minho states firmly.

Bang Chan really doesn't want to tell the kids. Even if lying by omission is still lying and he hates doing that to them, he's doing it for their own safety. At least that's what he keeps telling himself.

He knows it'll cause panic. He also knows that waiting longer for them to possibly find out on their own when he knew all along would also be terrible. But at least in that case they'd have some time to not worry about reality. Of course he knows he can't put it off too long since at least once a week Jisung or Jeongin have asked for updates.

All of them are secretly unhinged because this is such a far deviation from their schedule. He hasn't done Chan's Room in five weeks and it's killing him. Minho nor Seungmin won't admit it but not doing their respective V-lives has bothered them as well. Even Jeongin's bothered by not posting to Instagram. He feels their stares on the computer whenever he's browsing the news.
