Bang Chan let's his expression show once Althea and the Minsung pair leave. There's a hard look in his eye as he stares at the door and his mind decides to resupply him with the memory of Althea's reaction to him. 

The Stray Kids leader is a lot of things but not once in his life has he ever thought of himself as threatening. And Althea subconsciously seems to view him as such. 

From when he said 'snap' she seemed uncomfortable. And that behavior persisted with him only. Of course he's aware of her distaste for Hyunjin and Jisung, but in that moment she seemed...wary of him. 

Why?

The worse thing he's done is shout and she shouted back at him. Even though she seems fearful around them she has no issue letting them know how she feels. So it can't be something he or his members may have done. 

Changbin and Seungmin did say she was upset at her meeting with her boyfriend. Could that have something to do with it?

"Lorraine?" 

"Yes my love?" She smiles walking up to him. 

Bang Chan laughs nervously and rubs the back of his neck. "Um...does Althea have any bad moods generally?" He doesn't want to ask directly since it's technically none of his business but he's trying to be nicer to the female. 

Lorraine cocks her head confused. "Bad moods how?"

"Like....depression?"

At that, Lorraine's expression shifts to something more hesitant and guarded. "Why do you ask?"

Whatever it is must be a sore topic. "A-ah well Seungmin and Changbin said she was a bit upset that night she went home so....I just wanted to know if she might've had depression and if there was anything we could do to accommodate?"

"That night..." Her eyes suddenly light up in recognition and she grits her teeth. "That piece of shit must've said something...!"

Bang Chan's eyes widen at the sudden twist of anger lighting up her expression. A shot of discomfort rocks through him and he's regretting bringing up this topic to her. 

Lorraine, as if sensing his thoughts, quickly calms down and holds her hands up placatingly. "I'm sorry if I startled you." She bites her lip and looks aside as if the thought of explaining this is really taxing. "It's...not my place to say. Just keep doing what you're doing and Althea will warm up to you."

That's....not the answer he was hoping for.

Nonetheless, he smiles and drops the topic for now. It'll still be in the back of his mind and probably pop up again, but he'd rather something concrete come along before he addresses his concerns to Lorraine fully. 

"Thank you Lorraine."

The female nods and joins the others who are listening to Changbin's rants. Bang Chan's smile drops once her back is turned and he stares out the window with pursed lips. 

There's something unsettling brewing.

Althea made it very clear to Jisung, with the blankest face she could muster so Minho wouldn't kill her, that he wasn't allowed to roam her house. The rapper had a very sheepish expression as he nodded along to what she said but she was more preoccupied with the death glares Minho was shooting her. 

"Please take care of us," Jisung bows. 

Althea grumbles her response and pulls the sheets up to her chin as she gets into bed. "Watch Netflix if youne tiyad but keep the volume down..." Her dialect comes out. "And again....don't explore my house."
