9: ᴀɴ ᴀᴠᴇʀᴀɢᴇ ᴅᴀʏ

Please vote and comment. Any grammar mistakes in Lorraine and Althea's dialogue are on purpose for the sake of dialect. 

Bang Chan is pouting.

Not enough for his members to take notice but enough for them to start asking questions if they do. 

Althea's still here, nearly two hours later while they all watch a movie, but she's keeping a distance between herself and the rest of his members. Felix and Hyunjin tried moving closer but the female would always shuffle away or next to Lorraine. Eventually he had to reel them over for them to get the message. 

She says everything's fine but her actions clearly aren't lining up with that. 

"Hyung..." he hears a whisper and turns his head to Jeongin. "Is Noona okay?" He asks in Korean. 

"I'm not sure Innie. But let's respect her boundaries in the meantime yeah?"

"Isn't that what we've been doing?" Jisung whispers. 

"You gotta initiate a bit. That's how she lets me hug her," Felix shrugs. 

"You're a literal ball of sunshine. Who wouldn't let you hug them" Changbin scoffs. 

The freckled idol beams at the rapper and nuzzles his neck. Bang Chan shakes his head fondly. Felix is just that kind of person you can feel at ease with quickly. That's just how he is. 

"As true as that is, the rest of us don't seem to have the same sunshine aura as Felix here. So just keep doing what you're doing and let her warm up in her own time."

"She kinda warmed up to you earlier hyung," Hyunjin points out.

"If y'all ain't ga watch the movie I could leave yanno-"

"If youne miss us just say that," Lorraine grunts. 

"Bitch I missed you. I woulda sneaked you over by now if you wasn't babysitting."

"BABYSITTING?" Jisung and Hyunjin cry offended. 

Althea snorts as she shrugs her shoulders. Honestly Bang Chan can't find anything false in her statement because that's basically what Lorraine's been doing. Watching over them in her home and feeding them while making sure they don't get into any trouble.

The movie finished up after that rather quickly and Stray Kids were talking amongst themselves and Lorraine. Althea would check her phone every now and then but distracted enough not to question their grouping. 

Which was actually a huddle on how to keep Althea here longer. 

"Aight so she ain't gotta leave till 4am but we ga keep her for at least another hour. Because let's be honest, y'all love my bestie," Lorraine brags and the males chuckle. 

"Are there any Bahamian activities we can do?" Seungmin asks. 

"Mhm there's a game called Pocking where you throw small rocks or a ball at each other till someone either cries or gets hit but ine wan bruise y'all."

The men stare shocked at the explanation and Bang Chan for the first time in awhile feels uncomfortable around the girls. What kind of violent game is that? I mean he remembers chasing his friends or the members around with a wooden ladle playfully but rocks?

That seems so unbelievable and dangerous. 

"Bey remember when we first taught Lucas Pocking?" Althea wheezes. 

"Nigga was hollering for the longest cus he get one lil cut on he arm." The girls laugh at the memory.

Stray Kids is mildly disturbed and intrigued.  "But...why?" Bang Chan asks confused.
