33: ᴄʜᴀɴ'ꜱ ᴅɪꜱᴄʟᴏꜱᴜʀᴇ

"Whyyyyy?" Jisung whines. 

"Can't you just have one with us?" Felix complains. 

"We're quiet!" Hyunjin pipes up. 

"Lies," Seungmin hisses. 

The 2000-line, minus Seungmin, have been trying to get Althea and Lorriane to stay after they said they were going off for a movie night. Camila offered to keep them for the time being until Lorraine returns to take her group home. So long as they don't go partying. 

Althea looks to Chan for help and he stands behind her while planting his hands on her shoulders. She unconsciously leans back into him as he squeezes. 

"Guys let them go. They can have a movie night with us later alright?" Of course Felix can't accept this and tries to pout his way into their good graces. Lip wobbling, big eyes and all. And unfortunately it's working. Chan covers Althea and Lorraine's eyes and gives the Australian a deadpan. "Felix no..."

"Chrisss," he whines. 

Althea pulls Chan's hand away and pinches Felix's cheeks. "We'll be back later hun. Raine come hug the child."

"I feel like if I do I'll cave."

At that, Felix opens his arms with his pout still in tact. Jeongin, Hyunjin, Jisung and even Changbin do the same and Althea snorts. Lorraine peaks from Chan's hands and runs to the entrance sobbing 'I can't take you allll!'. Althea merely waves them off before they leave the house. She winks at Chan before she leaves the door and he wishes he could've kissed her goodbye. 

Clearing his throat--so he doesn't look as smitten as he feel--he grabs Althea's laptop and makes his way to the dining room. Lucas and Camila are entertaining the others so it gives him some time to work and fine tune the tracks. 

He's rather productive per usual. He managed to make a lot of adjustments and adlibs to the song from previous recordings. He's not sure how much time has passed but the sun has since gone down and now entered into nighttime. His members dropped by occasionally to drop him food that he's only taken one or two bites out of. He just wants to get as much done as he possibly can. 

There's one chord that he can't seem to correct and he's forced to take a few minutes to pause and regroup before he goes back to work. As he does, he can't help but let his thoughts drift to Althea's outing. 

Sure she'll be with her friends but what if Leon's there? What if he hurts her again? He's managed to slip away and break her in silence for years after all. Honestly if she comes back crying again he's choosing violence. He has to hide how angry he is whenever Althea cries over Leon. It's devastating to see her weep over a man who clearly doesn't know how to take care of something valuable. He doesn't like seeing her cry. Even less thinking about how long she's had to do so in silence. 

"You know...that's actually a decent name. Silent Cry....I should be focusing on that anyway instead of Althea..."

"Chris?"

Chan clears his throat and smiles as Felix peaks into the room. There's shadows coming from the hallway so he knows more members are waiting outside. But he'll humor them for now. He beckons the Australian closer and Felix takes a seat beside him with an odd look. 

"What's up Felix?"

"Can I ask something?"

"Shoot."

"How do you feel about Lorraine?"

Chan hums before smiling. "I like her. She's nice to hang around. Has a really fun, energetic personality and takes care of us well. Plus her fanatics are entertaining." They both chuckle. "Why do you ask?"
