The sound of an engine dying is drowned out by the winds raging through the night. It's stormy with some heavy rain and the breeze is picking up by the second. Thunderclaps echo periodically and there's a flash of lightning every so often that lights up the entire sky. The wind rattles the trees to the point that their leaves whip and blow every which way, and one must wonder why anyone would be foolish enough to be out here at night under these conditions.

However, it's these conditions are precisely what will cause the intended target to feel pitiful enough to let Leon inside.

He knows Althea would never let him stay out in a storm; irrelevant of how she feels. Even if it's completely insane of him to come here to begin with. Leon's not going to pay attention to any of that. He's just going to get his girl while being completely ignorant of just how manipulative his actions are.

Leon slips by the expensive looking plants and looks up at the home he's visited so many times before. It stands tall amidst the storm like a fortress and seems to stare back at him with something that wasn't there prior. The home didn't fill him with the warmth that is usually did. It didn't spark joy from the promise that he'd see his girl.

No...rather...

...it made him feel dread. Almost like a warning daring him to enter at his own risk.

He's felt off about this ever since he left home but it didn't stop him from driving all the way here. He's rarely had to come to Althea's house to fix their issues and that alone had him pissed enough to ignore the warning bells. Well, continue to ignore the warning bells. Leon couldn't fathom the thought of Althea doing anything except worshipping him. He's threatened to leave and caused her to burst into tears too many times for him to not be confident that she's wrapped around his finger.

Or so he likes to believe.

He likes that. Because she's the only one who puts up with-who loves him so much.

The male takes a deep breath and trudges the path up to the side of the home. He pulls his hoodie over his head to cover his face from the cameras around the house. At the very least if Althea's parents spot him, they can't identify him. He's not so stupid as to walk up to the front door and demand to speak to Althea. His survival instincts tell him that Jermaine would likely gut him for pulling a stunt like that in this weather. The man never really did like him.

Maybe Camila...

Leon flinches at the loud thunderclap that rattles the sky and hurries to the side gate. He climbs up and jumps over the fence before landing safely in their backyard like he's done so many times before.

The man looks around the place and smirks. It brings back memories of when he used to do this while they were in high school. Althea would wait for him and they would sit and talk. Her parents didn't have a clue back then.

The memories only further serve to anger him when he realizes how much time has gone past without Althea contacting him. Or acknowledging his existence. Who does she think she is? Doesn't she realize how this makes him feel?

'Do you realize how you've made her feel-'

He grits his teeth and glares at the ground. She knows him. He knows her. They know each other. He's not supposed to be doing the chasing part.
