"Are you okay?"
"No."
"Please, don't hurt yourself."
"I would never, that's beyond me. I won't hurt myself."But when they hear you say...
"I won't ever hurt myself."
...don't they know it's still not okay?
They walk away and put you on the shelf
Thinking, "Their bodies won't be harmed, so it's fine."
No.
What about emotionally? Or mentally?
These feelings inside can affect just as bad as those inflicted on the outside skin.
"Because there are no tangible scars they haven't fought any battles."
What world do those-who-hold-those-thoughts live in?
A world where they judge a book by it's cover? Or where they look at a fruit and observes only it's peel?
What can there be to discover if they don't have the urge to dig deep?
They must not walk away and put us on the shelf.
Cowards.
Learn. Dig. Move. Listen.
And pick me up when I fall down.{b.b.}
