Left in the dark

There's two different types of people.

The real people, and the ones who are just shadows.

The "real people" get attention. Whether it's abuse, love, lust, or just conversation. The attention could be good or bad, but still, at least they're noticed.
That counts for something.
Don't tell me it doesn't.

And then there's the shadows.
The shadows are left in the dark. They don't get anything, no attention whether good or bad.
And as great as that might sound that they at least don't get bad attention, doesn't it sound lonely?
Sure the shadows are lucky to not have to feel all different kinds of attention, but I think they have it worse than the "real people".

At least the real people get to feel something and say that they lived through something, and they gain confidence and wisdom from those experiences.
But the shadows have to sit back and watch.
Where's the fun in that? Where do they learn?

Where do I learn..

Give me something
Please..
