An odd meeting

The clouds cast a dark shadow over imp city as they pelted down droplets in a desperate attempt to flood its streets. You, a hellhound by the name of Eli, were stuck amidst this chaos as you wandered the maze of concrete and street lights, in search of a building containing a company by the name of IMP. You were understandably anxious having just moved to Imp City, you had not fully settled into its surroundings, and the stress of starting a new job wasn't helping either.

After a couple more minutes of searching, you stumble across what seems to be the place you were looking for, a tall corporate-like building stamped with a large golden plaque listing the many companies inside, "That's the place" you mumble, reading the crudely scratched writing.

Stepping inside, you drop your hood and begin to wipe the excess water from your fur, causing small droplets to fling across the room as you did. Quickly scanning the space, you easily notice the public elevator sitting inside the back wall, prompting you to make your way over.

Slipping inside, you press your now wet paw into the button to take you to the top floor. Suddenly your mind began to construct unlikely scenarios inside your head, provoking you to grumble in frustration, "Come on Eli, you're a hellhound you need to start acting like one" you thought.

Eventually, the doors slid open to reveal a wide hallway with a door on both the left and right, each having a matching elongated window beside them. One was seemingly abandoned and had been for some time, while the other had a beautiful dark trim with a radiant light beaming out of the windows on which the IMP logo had been plastered. You cautiously walk up to the door and force it open, only to find an oddly designed front desk with a hound relaxing behind as she taps away on her phone. To the left sat a couple of sofas which covered the decorative wall, the overall colour palette was a muddy pink with striped wallpaper encircling the space, "You the new guy?" she finally asked.

Looking back in her direction, you begin to respond, "Yeah, do I just-"

"Go through that door and into the office, he'll be waiting for you," she spoke, cutting you off with a bored tone, refusing to lift her head from the device.

Catching on that she'd rather be doing anything else at that moment, you begin to follow her directions, leading you to a darkly varnished door with the name Blitzø crudely carved into it.

With a deep breath, you bang your knuckles into the wood until an irritated voice yelled from behind, "JUST COME IN ALREADY!" It roared, evoking you to let yourself in.

The room was shady, distinctly influenced by the beaten-up blinds resting over the window as thin streams of light crept through its gaps. Blitzø was resting behind his desk as he glared at you, "Oh it's you, take a seat" he ordered, continuing once you did, "Now, I looked through your resume, and I'll be honest, you're one of the few people to come for this job with more than one passing grade, and the fact that you're a hellhound, your list of qualifications, it was obvious I had to bring you aboard." He explained diligently, "While you're here, I want to ask you a few questions"

His body language concerned you as he began to interlink his fingers, ominously staring at you as he did, but with an unsure expression, you nod, "Sure fire away"

He went completely silent for a moment before coming out with his inquiry, "Where did you get this good with weaponry?" He finally asked as his eyes lit up with excitement.

You began to stumble on your words as he continued to beam directly into your soul, "Uh, well, I don't think I'm comfortable disclosing my past relations with firearms" you note with a nervous chuckle, "All I can say is I'm good with them and from what I was told you could use someone like that"
