Hi, it's been a while, looks like I didn't hit my deadline (What a surprise) but I guess better late than never. I'd say I got busy, but I was just procrastinating on actually finishing this. I'm not sure whether it's laziness or if I just don't want this story to end...

Anyway is it, the finale, I'm going to do a bigger sort of thank you chapter after this to give the story some closer on my end. Which shouldn't take too long to release because I'm quite good at rambling. I'll probably go through the whole story once more to grab any typos or discrepancies that may have accumulated due to story changes.

For those who want to know, the song I imagine Eli and Ellie playing together is Be alright by Dean Lewis and the one at the end played by Eli is Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

I just want to say thanks for reading and sticking with me through all this, but every story must come to an end, so I hope this does it justice.

(Edit)
Hay it's me again, so this isn't the last chapter anymore but I don't really want to change everything I said because, well it sort of explains some stuff and I'm to lazy to, so this is what your getting, see you in the next chapter,

Cheers NP

The room fell silent as you continued to internally panic, trying to figure out the best and safest way to tackle this problem.

Loona glanced at you with a dazed face, "That's impossible, the cleansing isn't for at least another six months, that's why it's called an annual thing" she sighed, "It's probably someone trying to fuck with you, just relax"

"Sully told me, in 1996 the population of hell grew to such an extreme amount that the cleansing was brought forward in an attempt to combat it" you explained while pacing back and forth, beginning to mumble to yourself, "We have to go back"

You decisively reached underneath the sofa and pulled out a FN FAL, it's black metal work engraved with the defined details of a skull surrounded by flowing golden waves, it's bulging firing mechanisms exposing it had been modified to take a glowing magazine of angel rounds.

"Eli, what the hell!? How long has that been under there, I could have fucking killed myself!" Ellie exclaimed in shock.

"Sully's hidden plenty of back up weaponry around, and for the record, the safety is on this one" you reassured whilst pulling the trigger.

"Oh yeah, and what about the rest of them?"

"Let's hope he remembered to put them on"

Loona jumped up from her seat, "You're not actually going to believe that guy right, I mean anyone could have sent that letter" she reasoned with a worried tone.

You swiftly removed the golden lighter from your pocket and flicked it until its sparks lit to a flame, "There's only one demon who would think that name is suffice to hide her real identity" you looked away and began to light the portal, "The threat is real, and my friends are in trouble, I'm going to bring them back here for safety, now if you want to stay here, then that's fine"

Loona crept up behind you and placed her paw onto your back, "If you believe it, I will too" she smiled.

Ellie called out to the two of you, causing your heads to turn to her position, "Did you really think I'd let you go by yourselves?" She chuckled, pocketing her Beretta M92, "I've heard how you and Sully talked about the cleansing, you're fucking crazy if think I'm missing that action"

"Worst case scenario, you die and end up in hell" you laughed as the portal violently ripped open on the ground.

Hopping through the gateway, you gently landed on the carpeted floor of Loona's bedroom, a loud explosion was rumbling through the foundations of the apartment, causing you to rush into the living room and gaze out of the window.
