"Ugh, I don't understand why we can't just leave now, they won't die without us" Loona groaned, "As if that would be a bad outcome"The two of you were sat behind her desk drinking alcohol that she raided from the break room fridge, it had been a slow day for you both, making the hours tick by that much slower, "We can't just leave them stranded in the living world" you reasoned.
"Can't we?"
"No, we can't"
"You're no fun" she stated with an exaggerated sigh before resting her head on her hand.
Abruptly, the conversation was interrupted by Loona's ringtone sounding in her pocket, she promptly grasped the device and answered the call, "Loona, we're ready to come home sweetie" You heard Blitzo sing over the phone.
Standing up from the desk, she opened the grimoire and opened a portal to display a grand library with cherry wood bookshelves and expensive looking chandeliers, many of which had been dropped from the ceiling which destroyed the soft velvet red carpet below, the entire room was going up in flames and the three imps casually stood in the centre of it all, "I'd say that went well" Blitzo noted confidently whilst hopping into the office.
"In what way would you class that as going well?" Moxxie disputed with a scowl, "You missed the easiest shot of your life on the target all because you got distracted by a horse, and then we proceeded to chase said target around the halls of his mansion before topping the entire excursion off with destroying a perfectly adequate library trying to eliminate him"
"Maybe if you didn't have that receding forehead in that book of yours, you would have noticed I was getting distracted"
"Sir, I was using that book to locate the target, you are the one supposed to be focusing on not getting distracted!"
"Hmm, that would make sense" Blitzo considered, rubbing his chin with a forefinger, "Nope, definitely your problem"
"But sir-!"
"Alright that should wrap us up for the day, Loonie dear can you lock up the office for me"
"Whatever" She replied dismissively.
"Thank you sweetheart, I'll see you kids later!" He stated before loudly slamming the front door behind him.
Moxxie sighed with a fed up look spread across his face, leading Millie to gently grab his hand in consolation. Loona walked over to a coat rack situated by the door on which she left her jacket, "Come on you three I've got places to be" she said bluntly.
The two imps made their way to the exit, with you quickly catching up to them, "What are you in such a rush for? A hellhound finally fallen for your shit personality" Moxxie jabbed.
"You know, taking interest in other peoples love lives is the first sign of a failing relationship" She retorted.
Moxxie stopped in his tracks and turned to face her, "What? First and foremost my relationship with Millie is great and secondly the first sign off a failing relationship is-"
"Stop flirting you two" you and Millie remarked, continuing down the hall.
"Eww, WHAT THE FUCK!" They both yelled in unison before continuing to argue.
The sound of them shouting slowly dissipated as you both headed down the stairs, "So how's it between the two of you?" Millie excitedly asked, "Have you, ya know, done it yet?"
Her question caught you off guard and flustered you, "Uhh, well we..." you feel your cheeks burn up as you stutter before giving up and exhaling, "Yes we have"
