You wrap your paw around the handle of IMP's entrance, carefully pushing it open to let yourself inside. Moxxie looked up from his seated position and called you over, a self-confident smirk spread across his face, "What are you so happy about?" You ask, taking up the space next to him.
He swilled the coffee around in his mug and gestured to Loona's desk where you could now see, Blitzo was quietly sorting some papers and mumbling to himself, "You see that?" He noted.
You raised an eyebrow at the unusual sight, "Yeah, what's he playing at?"
"Well, he's finally decided to have the 'talk' with Loona about her attitude problem with clients" he grinned, beginning to sip away at his coffee.
"She's, getting better..." you add, not believing it.
"Pfft, even you can admit it's become a bit of a joke" he chuckled, "I don't know why he doesn't just get rid of her, she's-"
Moxxie's voice faded into the distance as your mind began to race as the pieces began to fall into place, "No wonder Blitzo was jumpy this morning" you muse.
"You don't think he'll actually get rid of her, right?" You ask with a nervous laugh, slightly worried by Loona's already questionable mental state.
Moxxie sighed and rolled his eyes in irritation, "Probably not, no"
This caused a deep annoyance to build inside you, his hoping for Loona's downfall seemed to activate a defensive instinct within you, "Why do you have such a problem with her?" You state rather loudly.
He looked back at you with a surprised expression, "What's my problem with her? No what's her problem with me!?" He shot back, "I work so hard, just to make sure this company stays afloat and all I get in return is her, pulling a face at it!"
Hearing the commotion, Millie bursts into the room and comes over to the two of you, "And whenever I try to say anything, I've always got Blitzo covering her back, and now, you too?!" He exclaimed with shock.
"Woah, what's going on?" Millie asked with concern, noticing your tensed fist, she sat between the both of you and began to try and pick apart the argument.
You glared into Moxxie's eyes and unclenched your paw, "You, have no idea, what other people are going through" you warned deeply, "That's all I'm saying"
He stared back but didn't reply, leaving you to walk away in anger, "Who the fuck does he think he is?" You grumble, your mind ignoring all rational thoughts.
You tried to relax while heading over to Loona's desk, peering over to inspect Blitzo's work, "You doing okay there?" You ask, sporting a slight smile.
He sighed and planted his head on the desk, "No" he grumbled, "I just don't know how to bring it up"
You knew this was going to end in disaster for everyone involved and decided to try and talk him out of it, "Look Blitzo, I know this is your decision and all but, I just don't think this is a good time to be-"
"Here she is Blitzo! It's time!" Moxxie called from across the room.
"Sorry Eli, can you hold that thought?" He sighed, before slouching off of the chair and making his way around the desk.
