Alright, time for some Hazbin. I had fun with this chapter, a lot of new characters to write into the story and a lot of new ways for them to interact (especially Alastor and Angel). Bit of a heads up, I'm not sure what I want to do for the next chapter as I've kinda fucked myself by using the hound party but I had to use it for PLOT, so it might be a bit all over the place, not to mention I'm running out of material so I'm gonna have to wait for the next episode (October).
I might go back and revamp some of the old chapters, cough cough Overwatch cough cough, but I'll see how I get on.
Loona does listen to some music but it doesn't really matter what it is so I guess you can choose what it is (don't say I don't spoil you all).
Alright, I'll let you get on with your life now,
Cheers NP
As the gravel driveway ceased to crackle underneath the thick rubber tyres of Blitzo's van, you all casually exit, the vehicle's body being brightened by the refracting neon lights inside the hotel's stained-glass windows, "Wow that is impressive" you comment, noticing the buildings unstably cobbled together top floors.
"You haven't seen this place before?" Loona asked.
You quickly shook your head, "Not up close, it's a lot more impressive when it is towering over you like this"
"Ha, I told you that name was wrong" Blitzo yelled, hopping over the van's bonnet as he did, "Nobody's stupid enough to call their demonic organisation the 'Happy Hotel'"
You glanced up to the bright neon pink lettering Blitzo was staring at, its lights spelling out 'Hazbin Hotel', "That can't be right" you mused, the lack of souls in the area becoming apparent.
"So are we just going to stand out here until we die of hypothermia or what?" Loona complained, prompting you all to head for the grand cherry wood door.
Blitzo stepped up and pounded his fist against the colourful glass, its sound echoing through the halls behind. You all waited for a couple of minutes with Blitzo repeatedly knocking on the door, his strength getting stronger each time he was forced to try again, "What sort of customer service is this, we haven't even got inside yet!?" He complained.
"Have you tried opening the door?" Loona grumbled, clearly still upset at Blitzo's outburst.
This provoked him to angrily grasp the handle and begin to force it inwards. As the latch unlocked, the door was suddenly pulled open from the inside, thrusting Blitzo into the lavish hall of the hotel.
He grunted as he collided with the carpeted floor before rolling over to face the culpable assailant, "Hey, asshole, there was someone behind that!" He yelled in irritation.
As he rubbed at his now burned elbows, a tall figure stepped out from behind scarlet wood, his wide grin unsettling everybody who caught eye of it, "You know, it's quite rude letting yourself into another's home without an invitation" a calm voice stated through what sounded like an AM radio. This lanky presence wore the outfit of a nineteen, twenty's radio host, his black dress shoes and trousers pairing nicely with the ruby suit jacket on his torso. You noticed his hair, which was just as red as his outfit, formed into what looked like animal ears before curving neatly back down to his fringe, "I don't believe we are expecting guests, what are your names?" The demon asked, quickly glancing back at you.
"Ugh, it's Blitzo, we've been booked in for the night" he grumbled, finally getting a full glimpse of this shifty character.
You and Loona finally entered the building's threshold and rejoined Blitzo, "Hmm, I guess I could run that by Charlie" he smiled before helping Blitzo back to his feet, "Now I'd love to continue bumping gums with you fine folk, but I've got something cooking on the stove, you're welcome to join us"
