So this took longer then expected,
So if you didn't catch my update, which has probably been deleted by now, I was rewriting chapter one and in my infinite wisdom, deleted about half of it after completing it (Although I managed to fix it, had to rewrite again though) so this took a hit because of that. This chapter is also a bit shorter then the rest (about one thousand words) because I've left it off just before the second episode of season two and think that will be a good place to start off next time.
That's all for now, hope your all having a good one,
Cheers NP
As the hours ticked by, the hotel corridors remained still as the sombre orchestra of pentagram city played outside. Despite the calm atmosphere, something felt off, causing you to slowly wake up, your eyes staying quietly shut.
Your ears suddenly perked at a quiet sound by the window, it was only now you felt the icy air flowing across your fur, rapidly sending goosebumps down your arms. In an attempt to warm up, you reached across the mattress for a quilt or body of fur but came up empty-handed which forced you to open your exhausted eyes.
As your vision slowly returned, you noticed not only was Loona missing but the duvet was pushed away leaving your chest exposed to the elements. The quiet sound returned, louder this time although still a whisper compared to the wind blowing outside. You glanced over to its source to find Loona's silhouette standing by the window, crying as her hair flowed in the breeze.
Without making a sound, you got up from the bed and made your way over to her, "Loona?" You mumbled, your voice deepened by your sleepy state.
Startled by your appearance, she turned hastily, her pupils instantly dilating upon noticing you before breaking down into a fit of sobs.
She collapsed into your arms, pressing her head over your shoulder as she continued to sharply exhale. You held her tightly and kissed her neck, "Shhh, it's okay" you breathed, sending a wave of reassurance through her body.
Moving over to the bed, you both sat down while holding her at arm's length, "Do you want to tell me what's wrong?" You asked, swiftly getting her reply with a silent shake of her head, "Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Get some more beer" she sniffed whilst kicking over the bottle you'd brought back a few hours ago.
You sighed, "How many have you had?" You asked reluctantly, now noticing the alcohol on her breath.
"Just one, you'd drunk most of it anyway" She noted, filling your heart with relief.
You didn't want her to be getting drunk in an attempt to fix her problems but thought one couldn't hurt, "Okay, I'll go grab us something, just, don't-"
"I'll be okay..." she replied unconvincingly.
You knew she was lying, her faltering voice being a dead giveaway, but got up to leave anyway, "She'll come to me when she's ready" you thought, gently closing the bedroom door.
Turning to walk down the hall, the lights brightened as their sensors noticed your presence, leaving an ominous darkness at each end of the corridor.
Your mind continued to think about Loona, in an attempt to figure out what could be bothering her, "She's never this quiet" you mumble, beginning to fear the worst, "I hope I didn't do anything"
You began to drag your paw against the papered walls swiftly manoeuvring around the near corner, only to abruptly crash into a rough object low to the ground.
Stumbling backwards, you lower your eyes to find an irritated Blitzo rubbing at his forehead, "Ugh, watch where you're going" he grumbled brushing down his leather jacket. You tilted your head, he'd been out and judging by the sexual stench surrounding his every movement, you could only assume he'd been to the lust ring, and are those, tears?
