"Does anyone have any new leads on Evelyn?" Hayley questioned, walking into the office upstairs. Everyone shook their heads.

"All we know is she's in Mystic Falls." Oliver stated, stating the same thing they've known for the past three months. It's the same lead they've been trying to go off of ever since she ran away to Mystic Falls.

With each passing second, they were all growing anxious, frustrated, paranoid, and even scared.

When they found Quinn, she was on the brink of death. Elijah managed to heal her before she could die. He had gone to train, to prepare, for when Evelyn showed up, but it was trashed. Ever since then, it became a place for people to fight. It became a boxing gym.

Klaus sipped on the whiskey in his glass as he stared out the window. "How are we supposed to know what her bloody intentions are if we can't even track her?" Klaus asked, turning toward the group.

"I agree with Nik. She could be planning our deaths for God's sake!" Rebekah exclaimed.

"We will figure it out. For now, just be prepared." Freya ordered.

They all stared at her for a moment before sighing and nodding. Hayley, Hope, Oliver, and Klaus left the room, leaving Freya, Rebekah, Elijah, and Levi in the room. Davina, Marcel, and Vincent had eyes all over the city in case something happened.

Quinn barely left her room, her paranoid mind running non-stop, never giving her a break. She tried staying out of the way. She had a glimpse of Evelyn's power, even if she wasn't putting in the full effort. She was afraid of Evelyn's true potential, the power everyone had yet to see.

"Quinn, you need to stop worrying so much." Adelaide sighed from Quinn's bed as she watched Quinn pace back and forth.

Quinn stopped and sighed. "I know, I know. I can't help it. I mean, I've seen part of her power. Who knows how strong she really is? What if she's targeting me?" Quinn panicked, her paranoid mind overwhelming her.

"Okay, you need to take a deep breath. Breathe. Don't worry about Evelyn right now." Adelaide said in her natural soft tone, placing her hands on Quinn's shoulders.

Quinn took a few deep breaths before smiling at Adelaide. Adelaide returned the smile as Quinn cupped her cheeks and pulled her lips toward hers. Adelaide smiled into the kiss before pulling away and pressing her forehead on Quinn's.

The window suddenly flew open, the cold September breeze flowing inside and making Quinn and Adelaide shiver.

Quinn walked to the window to close it but stopped when she noticed two people on the rooftop of the building beside the Mikaelson manor. Quinn furrowed her brows, thinking it was Evelyn and someone else until they looked as if they were kissing.

She shook her head, shaking those thoughts from her mind and sitting back down on the bed beside Adelaide.

"I'm tired. Can we head to bed?" Adelaide asked.
