She stabbed herself.
She literally stabbed herself with the vervain I had in my pocket. How she knew it was there is beyond me.
She keeps talking to herself and it's concerning me.
"I'm planning on it." Her voice barely makes it out as she stares at something. She turns to me, her eyes hooded. "Find Freya." She whispers before completely collapsing. I catch her and stare down at her sleeping features.
She looks so calm when she's not awake. Like she has nothing to worry about. If only that were true.
"Who is Freya?" Owen asks.
I forgot he was even here.
White smoke leaves her body, forming a figure. When the formation is complete, a girl with red and black hair shakes her arms out.
"What in the hell?" Owen mumbles, eyes wide.
"Hello, Alexander. Nice to talk to you again." She says. I open my mouth, but she interrupts me. "Enough with the chit-chat. We need to get her to the Mikaelsons as quickly as possible." She instructs, being straightforward.
"We're going to the Mikaelson den?!" Owen shouts.
"If we don't get her to Freya soon, her body will cave in on itself. Meaning, tri-brid or not, she will die. Completely." She says, crossing her arms.
"Where's Freya?" I question.
"Where she always is. Or, as your friend so nicely put it, the Mikaelson den." She says with a sarcastic smile.
"You're sure she's there?"
"I may have been living inside of your friend, but I'm not stupid. I pay attention to the things she doesn't. Freya doesn't like to leave the house unless she needs to." She explains. Evelyn stirs in my arms and Angel turns frantic. "You need to find Freya before she wakes up."
"What if we don't?" Owen asks, his brows furrowing.
"She won't be the same." Is all she gives before I disappear, vamp-speeding toward the manor.
The door is already open, so I rush inside, calling out, "Freya!"
Freya rushes toward the door along with two other men. "Lynn." She whispers, rushing toward me.
"What happened?" The first male asks, his hair more of a blonde. I'm pretty sure he's Ev's father.
"Freya, you need to find the spell to reverse her hex. Her body's going to give in on itself if you don't." Angel explains as I lay Ev down on the couch.
"How did she even get it?" A brunette male asks.
"I don't know. After everything went down with Wyatt, there was something off about her. She was starting to see things that weren't there, she was talking to herself. Her hunger was growing, I could even feel it." Angel explains.
