As Jeremy pushed the large, metal safe with PRIVATE engraved on the golden plaque, he was unaware of Evelyn being awake. He couldn't hear how she banged on the door, screaming for help as water engulfed her.

He watched as the safe sank in the Gulf of Mexico, the engine of the boat he used to drive further out whirring. He was happy. He had finally ended Evelyn Mikaelson.

The sun rose as he drove back to land.

"Alexander!" Angel yelled, her footsteps echoing through the penthouse as she ran down the steps. Xander groaned as he laid on the couch. "Alexander, get up!" She yelled again, running to him and grabbing a pillow. She smacked him with it, making him groan again.

"What? What?" He asked, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"She's gone. Evelyn's gone!" She stated, staring at him wide-eyed. He looked at her confused. "She's not in her bedroom, Lilly hasn't seen her, and she's not answering her phone." Angel panicked.

"Have you checked her place?" Xander asked.

"She lives here, but I'll check out the Mikaelsons." Angel said and walked away, to the elevator. She pressed the button, but the button didn't light up like it normally did. "Great. The elevator's broken." Angel sighed before running over to the door.

She paused for a second, placing her palm on her chest as she stumbled. She disappeared into the hallway and down the stairs, completely skipping over the dagger that Evelyn had placed on the table beside the door.

Xander grabbed his phone and began to dial Evelyn's phone number. It rang, and rang, and rang, until it went to voicemail. "Hey. You've reached my voicemail. I'm busy at this time and can't answer my phone. See you, losers." The phone beeped, making him sigh.

"Hey, Ev. It's Xander. Where are you? Angel's freaking out, and I'm starting to worry too. Come back home." When he finished sending the message, he hung up and shut his screen off.

Angel burst through the door of the Manor where all of the Mikaelsons lived. The door banged against the wall as she rushed inside. She darted up the stairs to the floor with Evelyn's room. She opened the door and ran into the room.

It was empty. The bed looked like it hadn't been slept in. Clothes were put away in the closet and dresser. She ran to the bathroom, but it, too, was empty.

"What are you doing?" Hope asked as she stood near the door.

Angel spun around, facing her. "Have you seen Evelyn?" She asked, a spark of hope flaring to life in her chest.

"No..." She trailed off, confused. "I thought she was with you and Xander."

Angel ran her hands through her hair, her mind racing. "Has Evelyn come here at all?" She asked.

"No. Not that I know of." Hope answered.

Angel walked over to her left nightstand and opened it, grabbing the dagger from inside. She walked to the other nightstand and grabbed the box from inside.
