Quinn woke up, feeling well rested. She was shocked, especially since she was anxious and scared twenty-four seven. She carefully got out of bed, making sure not to move too quickly, in case she woke up Adelaide.
She walked out of the room to see Freya downstairs on the floor by the coffee table. She chanted a spell under her breath as Quinn noticed a puddle of blood moved from one place to another.
"What are you doing?" Quinn asked, walking down the stairs.
Freya looked up at the sound of Quinn's voice. "Locator spell. I've been trying to find Evelyn's recent whereabouts." Freya explained.
"No luck?" Quinn asked, walking toward her. Freya sighed and shook her head. Quinn sat down on one of the seats. "How are we supposed to be ready if we have no idea whatsoever when she's gonna attack or where she even is?"
"Just, stay on guard. None of us have seen even the slightest thing that she's capable of." Freya said.
"I have." Quinn blurted.
Freya snapped her head up toward Quinn. "What are you talking about?"
"When you guys found me in the gym, it was trashed, because we tore it apart. I found her collapsed, then she disappeared, and when she appeared again, she was...dark. She overpowered me. Something she's never been able to do." Quinn explained.
"She doesn't put in half as much effort when she's fighting you guys unlike when she's fighting her enemies. Which means... something is going on with her." Freya pondered.
"I wanna engage in this war." Quinn blurted. Freya snapped her head up and gave Quinn an 'are you crazy?!' look. "I started this mess. I should finish it."
"Quinn, you didn't start anything. This is all Evelyn." Freya sighed. Quinn rolled her eyes in response. "We need to be careful. She could be planning to kill us all." Freya declared.
"If anything, it's you guys she wants to kill. Your family tore her life apart! I can see why." Quinn said. She stood up from her seat and went to walk away when a brunette pinned her to a table by her neck.
Her outfit was mainly black and leather, giving her a 'fuck with me and you die' aura. Quinn struggled to get out of her grip as Elijah leaned on the railing.
"Katerina." Elijah spoke.
"Elijah." Katherine spoke with a bored tone, Quinn still struggling in her hold.
"What is the meaning of this visit? I'm sure you have business to attend to...elsewhere." He said, walking down the stairs as he adjusted the cufflinks of his shirt.
"I am doing business. Here." Katherine said with a glare as Quinn continued to struggle against Katherine's grip. Quinn brought her leg up and kicked Katherine in the gut, making her let go.
