The next day at the hospital.

Elijah's Pov

"Sir, excuse me, sir"

I was woken by a quiet low manly voice. I lifted my head from the bed, Straight away my attention turned to Mia, to make sure she was okay. 

I took a breath of relief still holding her hand and then looked up to see the doctor standing beside me.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Yes, but we are going to do a few more tests to make sure mia is good to head home"

"Okay, how long will that take?" I asked.

"It will be a few hours before we know if she is out of the park," the doctor explained.

"Oh"

"I'm going to be straight with you, I am worried about mia," said the doctor

"Why is that?" I asked

"Well, she hasn't woken up yet. If she doesn't wake up in the next hour or two then its more serious than we thought"

"Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked.

"No, you should head home and we will call when the time is right"

I knew there was nothing I could do so I listened, doctor. I stood up, turning to Mia. I bent down kissing her on her cheek then made my way out of her room. 

I closed the door behind me, peaking through the window, my heart stopped just seeing her like this. For a second I had a thought. I could give her my blood. Right? It would heal her faster. 

But I could hear my sister's voice in my head saying, 'you have to be careful, no one knows you're a vampire. You can't risk it'

I hesitated, veering my gaze away from Mia. I deeply wanted to rush back into her room and give her my blood. 
But I have to trust that the doctors know what they are doing. Even though it kills me inside to see her laying there hopelessly. Not able to do a thing. 

I know one thing that I can do. It is to FIND THE PERSON THAT DID THIS TO HER. I'm not going to rest until I find her attacker. 

As I walked down the hallway to the elevator I heard the doctor calling out to me. 

"Sir! Sir" 

I turned around, "yes, is everything okay?" 

"Oh yes, I wanted to know if you wanted us to call you when we find anything out" 

"Yes! I would like that. Oh, and what do I call you doctor?" 

"I'm doctor Parker" 

Doctor Parker handed me a pen and paper then I wrote down my number and name. I handed the information over to doctor Parker then turned around and made my way out of the hospital, walking over to my car getting in. 

I quietly sat in my car, trying to make a plan to find Mia's attacker. I called up a few of my mates to meet me at my house to discuss everything.

I hung up then I turned my car on and drove home. It was a 20 minute drive to my house. I arrived at my house parking my car in the driveway and started walking up to the door. As I unlocked my front door, I heard my name being called out. It was my mates.
