Kakucho tried to get him to stay back and wait so he could gather the rest of Bonten but Ran didn't care for what he had to say.

He'd have to face the consequences when he got home without a child who adored you. He didn't even want to imagine what you'd do to him if you found out your only child went missing without a trace.

In the middle of the group of men was someone who was distressed - at the verge of tears when they saw husband and daughter safe.

"You dumbass !!!" You shout to Ran, grabbing your daughter from him. "Then you ask why she isn't allowed in Bonten's hide out"

Looking at how stressed out he also was - you calm down from your rage. How had you found out ? Mikey reached out. Even though he knew Ran could take care of the situation, he needed to let the more 'capable' parent know.

Finally calm, you take a breather and hug Ran. Yea, you were mad but at least he got your child back. She came out safe. He came out safe. No injuries. No nothing.

"I'm sorry" Ran chokes out silently. Still in shock from things. When it came to his family, he didn't know how to react. Especially when it came to his daughter. "It's okay. Let's go home. I'll make your favorite then we can all play video games till she falls asleep"

He was let off easy since your child was still alive and safe. He wouldn't be babysitting any time soon though.
