Lyric
The week so far had been slow, even with Sam around nothing really happened. Axel was everywhere to the point I felt the need to hang myself. Amber was smirking at me while hanging off his arm like a caked sloth. The only thing exciting happened on Friday for me. And it wasn't even good.
Friday
"Hi, I'm Lyric." I said to her, smiling from ear to ear, "And this person here is Sam." I smiled again.
She might think I'm creepy I thought, because I felt I was smiling way too much.
"I'm Bianca." She smiled back, "I'm new." She added after a short pause.
"I kind of figured." I told her. Seeing as I'd never seen her around before.
"Any siblings here?" I asked her and she nodded.
"One brother, but he's new too."
"That's cool. I guess I'll see you around then." I said, waving goodbye and walking to my first class.
"She seems nice." Said Sam and I nodded. "She's real pretty too." He grinned and I nudged him in the side.
Bianca was a small petite blonde who was wearing a nice floral sundress and pink flats. She had bright green eyes and was a year younger than us but from the looks of it her I.Q. was probably higher than ours.
"You think so too right?" I winked and I saw a ghost of a smile. "Now I guess it's compulsory." I stated.
But something about her seemed familiar, something seemed off but otherwise she seemed sweet. Although it felt like I'd seen her before. I'd have to let it go for now though, for the sake of Sam.
He raised an eyebrow, "What's compulsory?"
I kept quiet. "Ric tell m-" he began but I held a hand up.
"Shhh!" I hissed and he shut up, but I could see the question on his face; why?
"You're killing the suspense." I told him and he started laughing, his laugh so contagious I couldn't suppress the smile that glided onto my face."No, really." He said after composing himself, pulling on his lopsided beanie and pushing up his glasses. "What are you up to?"
"I had a dream," I began, but before I could finish he started chuckling. "And in my dream... I had a television with a picture inside of a picture inside of a television inside of a picture inside of a frame of a girl called Bianca and under Bianca was the sentence. 'Needs a Sam Evans to hold her oh so fragile heart... " I began but trailed off unaware of what to say, "At heart.'" I said and I could see Sam suppressing a smile at my stupidity. Dumb dog. "Do you get where I'm coming from? Or at least where I'm going with this?" I asked.
"Yeah," he nodded earnestly, "La La Land." I rolled my eyes.
"So I'm gonna get you and-" I said, closing my eyes.
"Ric." I was interrupted mid-sentence but I kept my eyes closed as I tried to finish, "Shut up, Sam." I said, shoving him, "So I'm gonna get you and Bi-"
"Ric." He said again, but it wasn't Sam, it was familiar but not Sam but I was too busy to notice, my eyes still shut tight as I relayed my 'dream'.
"Sam, pay attention." And this time thankfully there was no interruptions. "So it is my mission, no dream to get you and Bianca together," I stated.
"I don't even like her." Said Sam but I kept going.
"Because damn she is fine but your cute so it'll work trust me. You're like funny and she's like shy. You're like tall and she's just right. Got it?" I said, wiggling my eyebrows suggestively, but when I opened my eyes it wasn't Sam that was infront of me, no Sam was beside me nearly laughing his head off but infront of me stood someone, someone I had never seen before. Jokes I've seen this guy before, I just didn't want to remember. He was bullshit, I was life. I'm awesome and he's... Still bullshit.
