"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm better, I promise." She was lying again. I knew what that actually meant. I knew what it all meant when girls said things like that.

"Let's go get something to eat." I said and she smiled a tight lipped smile.

"Sure."

I hated how she didn't trust me yet. I hated how the only girl I've ever really cared for probably doesn't feel the same way. I hate how she's such a hard shell to crack.

"Why do you stick around?" She asked.

I hated how she asked so many questions.

"Because you make my knees feel weak." I said and her eyes widened.

"Really-"

"Just kidding, yesterday was leg day."

"Suck a dick." She told me and I couldn't help but grin.

"I know you want to suck mine." I said and she gagged.

"Mine's probably bigger than yours." She said, "And I don't even have one."

"Ouch." I said as I pulled on a jacket and we made our way toward the room door. We were in her house, cooped up in her room. Her parents were back so I told her I'd meet her outside and jumped back to my room.

This girl would be the death of me, I thought as I shook my head and ran a hand through my hair.

"Hey wait!" I called back before she was out of sight. She raised an eyebrow. "Why'd you punch me the other day?"

I was actually curious. She practically injured an injured person. She like-

"I'll tell you while we're eating." She said and disappeared and I just shrugged.

Women.

I looked at myself in the mirror hanging on my door as I grabbed the handle to exit the room.

I mean, how could say no to this? I thought as I wiggled my eyebrows at my self suggestively.

As I left the house I found Lyric standing before her motorcycle.

"Ha nah! No way! Car." I said.

"Race you." She said and jumped on the bike, the engine roaring as she put on her helmet and took off.

I shook my head and sighed, one moment she smiled one moment she looked like she was about to rip my head off. Again, women.

I absentmindedly rubbed my jaw where she had last punched me and got in the car.

By the time I reached the intersection I realised something, I had no idea where she was planning on going and then finally decided on going to the most obvious place she would like to go to.

As I pulled up I saw her motorbike already parked and assumed she was inside. I strolled in and smiled as I saw her already at the booth and half asleep.

"Must've been a long night." Said the waitress as I slipped into the booth, Ric stirred but didn't fully wake. The waitress was a young petite blonde and if this was three weeks ago I would've been making moves toward her.

I just nodded, "Should've been there. We were at it all night." I winked.

The waitress' eyes went round as she stuttered, "Oh, um yeah. Ha. Orders?"
