Chapter 7: Trost District

Next day:

Y/n POV:

Y/n had just woken up and recalled that he promised to go to Trost with Ymir today.

Y/n thoughts:" I should probably get up and get changed. Don't want to leave Ymir waiting."

You then got up out of your bed and got some casual clothes on for today. You put on a black top with a white jacket over it with joggers on.

After you got dressed you walked out to see Ymir waiting for you.

Ymir: "You know it's rude to leave a girl waiting."

Y/n: "Yeah yeah whatever. How are we get there anyway?"

Ymir: "The military is allowing us to go so we'll be catching a carriage to Trost."

Y/n: "Alright then. When we leaving."

Ymir: "First ones are going in five minutes. We should be there soon."

Y/n: "OK then. You take the lead."

Timeskip:

Annie's POV:

Annie woke up about an hour later than y/n. As she was getting up she quickly got dressed and headed out to the carriages.

Christa: "Oh there you are Annie. Thought you weren't going to come!!" Annie just nodded silently.

Annie's thoughts:" I hate waking up so early. I wonder if y/n is already in Trost District."

Y/n POV:

You've been in Trost for about 30 minutes now. You were dropped off just outside the military building in Trost District.

Ymir: "Whew!! That was a long ride wasn't it y/n."

Y/n: "Yeah."

Ymir: "Cheer up will you? It's our day off."

Y/n: "Well we've been walking for ages. Where are we going anyway."

Ymir: "We're almost there." A couple of minutes later you walked into a large street with tones of stools on both sides.

Y/n: "Wow!! never knew the Trost market was so big. Bigger than the ones in Shiganshina.

Ymir: "I know right? I wished they let us have more time off though."

Y/n: "Yeah agreed. So where are we going first."

Ymir then pointed at a stall that had expensive jewellery and rings.

Y/n thoughts: "Hmmm never took Ymir as the jewellery type of girl. Maybe it's for Christa."

You watched as she was looking at the jewellery the man had in the store.

Ymir: "Hey y/n!! Which is nice of me. The gold ring or the silver ring." You walked over to her to have a closer look.

Y/n: "Hmmm about this one." You picked up a silver ring with an onyx stone in the middle of it.

Ymir: "Hmmm very nice. Just expensive though."

Y/n:" Well I'm feeling nice today so I'll pay for a bit of it."

The cashier then said, "It's one of our top sellers for engagement rings. You guys look like a cute young couple so I recommend it."

You and Ymir just looked at each other realising how it looked for you both to be in a jewellery store together. Ymir then went up to the cashier and placed the ring on the desk. He then put it in a black box with the store's logo on it and you guys paid and left.
