Chapter 19:Battle of Stohess

You and Annie had just made your way back to the wall. You picked up and carried a still sleeping Annie and made your way over the wall. You leaned back on the ground and spotted a couple horses. The scout regiment leaves horses around many places so that they can be able to go to issues with great speed. You shook Annie awake and saw her beautiful icy eyes.

Y/n:"Hey Your finally awake."

Annie:"Where are we y/n."

Y/n:"We're in wall rose. We have a couple hours to make it back to stohess district."

Annie:"Yeah ok I see that you found some horses."

Y/n:"Yeah I guess it's handy that the scout regiment leave them all over the place." Annie simply nodded and walked to her horse before turning around.

Annie:"I had the weirdest dream y/n."

Y/n:"Hmm and what was the dream??"

Annie:"It's probably because I was so exhausted but I had a dream that you asked me to marry you." You looked back at her and smiled.

Y/n:"It wasn't a dream Annie. Look." You pointed at her left hand as she looked down to see the ring on her finger.

Annie:"Oh...my...god I can't believe it. Even though I already know I said yes it's still shocking to me." You chuckled and laughed as you both mounted your horses.

Y/n:"Right let's get going. I have a feeling tomorrow's gonna be a busy day." You quickly set off your horse as Annie followed you close behind. You both took off your scouts regiment capes to reveal a military police uniform. You did this so if they mission went south you wouldn't be under to much suspicion straight away.

Annie:"So what do we do now."

Y/n:" I think we have to wait. They haven't found out your identity yet and I don't think they'll find out mine. When they come for you in Stohess your gonna need to try and avoid conflict and make your way to the wall and escape into wall rose. From there we should be able to go to Shiganshina."

Annie:"Huh shiganshina??"

Y/n:"Yes you have people who come every month right. So we'll wait there. It wouldn't shock me if they find out Reiners and Bertholdts identities soon as well. The logical thing to do for if there identities are found out is if they head to Shiganshina."

Annie:"Hmmm yes I agree with you on that. Do you really think I'll be able to get away though??"

Y/n:"Yes of course. Believe you'll be able to make it to the wall and climb up it but it leaves you wide open. That's when I come in. I'll make sure you'll be able to climb over it without any issues and if you get captured in one of those traps again I'll make sure they won't get close to your nape."

Annie:"Hmm yes ok considering it's only us two I believe it's the best plan we can do."

Y/n:"Well the truth is Annie I trust your skills entirely. If you guys were really devils like my race says there blind and ignorant to the reality of war in race. The simple fact your here and I'm able to say this is proof that you are stronger then most of this world." You looked behind her and saw her smile from your words.

Annie:"You get really philosophical y/n. Why's that??"

Y/n:"The true wisdom of someone isn't the words themselves but how they are said and these are my words to you Annie. I love you more then I've loved anything in this world and I promise I'll save you and everyone of this world. That's my promise." Annie blushed a bit and nodded as you rode closer and closer to Stohess.

Timeskip:

You and Annie had just arrived back to the barracks and you gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before going back to your room. You entered and saw Marlo sleeping in his bed. You made your way to your desk and brung out two pieces of paper and two envelopes. You labelled one To Marlo and the other one To Armin. You would post them in the morning so they would get the letter long after you have been found out. You begun writing your letters as you had a pence of sadness come over you. You would miss the time you spent in the peace and quiet of the inner walls. But you realised that your plan to save the world was more important then yourself.
