Chapter 14:The Truth part 1

You were walking around trying to find a spot away from everyone with Annie after the ceremony as you had a couple minutes by yourselves.

Y/n:"Shouldn't we do something about the titans they have. Just incase they find anything out."

Annie:"Hmm yeah I had the same idea. But we can only do it if we get someone's odm gear."

Y/n:"I still have Marcos so I should be fine."

Annie:"No you can't do it y/n!! Let me do it. I'm smaller and more nimble then you." You just stared at her in silence before specking up.

Y/n:" I feel like after the expedition. If we fail. Then we'd be found out anyway. So I doubt it matters." You looked down before composing yourself again.

Annie:"Why do you help me and the others for y/n. I know you care about me and you don't care about these people. But this is your home isn't it."

Y/n:"What is home really Annie??"

Annie:"Huh."

Y/n:"Isn't home just something that's convenient to yourself. Or something that you know. Or is it just a place for memory's and family. Which ever one it is I have none of them." Annie moved closer to you till her head was on your shoulder. Annie grabbed your hand and held it in hers.

Annie:"When I was younger my dad would train me heavily everyday. Everyday I would hurt and hurt so I could become a warrior. One day though I couldn't take it anymore and I ended beating my dad to a point where he has a permanent limp. It was the first time I showed no emotion whatsoever. I thought I would hate my father for the rest of my life. But the day I was sent to paradise he came down to my level and embraced me in a hug. He made me promise that I would come home to him no matter what. He even apologised for being such a bad father to me. That's home to me and that's where I wanna take you. To a place where you have a home. With me." She looked up to you and gave you a big smile. This was the first time Annie told you anything about her dad.

Y/n:" I promise you this now Annie. I'll make sure you get home. I may not have a family but you still have someone waiting for you." Annie gave you a kiss on the cheek before you both stood up.

Annie:"Be safe y/n."

Y/n:"I will be." You walked back to your room and put your full mask on. You left and put your odm gear on and went to take care of the titans that were captured.

Y/n thoughts:"I wanna kill these beasts so I could actually have a good nights sleep for once."

You snuck up to the wall surrounding the scouts headquarters. You attached to to the top and as it was night the guards couldn't see you. You quickly zipped down to the titans and cut there napes before zipping away.

Y/n thoughts:"That was easier then expected. I need to dispose of this odm winch and put Marcos on. They will definitely check the gear if it's been used recently."

You went to the forest next to the hq and went deep into it. You made a hole and buried the gear.

Y/n thoughts:"Right I better get back before I arise any suspicion."

I know this event happened before the recruitment ceremony but since Annie was with y/n when she should've killed the titans. I changed it so it was after the ceremony.

Timeskip:

After you have chose which regiments you want to be in you were taken away with each of those regiments. You and Annie were the only ones in your top 10 class to join the mp regiment. You were sitting opposite commander Nile in the carriage that was taking you to the base you would be stationed at.
