Chapter 30:The day before the Three Years

The next day:

W.S.O.U soldier:*knock*knock*"Commander Annie leonhart is here to see you like you requested." You were in your private quarters and had just recently woken up.

Y/n:"Ah good let her in." The door to your room slowly opened to reveal Annie wearing her normal white hoody and joggers. Annie walked in closing the door behind her.

Annie:"Wow so form-" before Annie could finish her sentence you walked up to her and kissed her. "Huh...that was...unexpected."

Y/n:"Haha come on let's spend sometime together for once." Annie chuckled before placing her head into your chest.

Annie:"Alright then 'commander', whatever you say." Annie pulled her face away from your chest and had a cheeky grin on her face. She leaned up and kissed you on your cheek.

Y/n:"So you got anything in mind Annie??"

Annie:"Hmmm not in particular. Aren't Zofia, Udo, Gabi and Falco all coming down to the base today??"

Y/n:"Hmmm yeah they are."

Annie:"I'm surprised Y/n."

Y/n:"By what??"

Annie:"Your soft on that group of kids. Is there a reason behind it??" You placed your hand on her cheek and gave her a smile.

Y/n:"I don't really know myself if I'm entirely honest. I guess I just like the optimism of those of a younger age."

Annie:"Annie oh is that so... I just thought-" Annie looked down and was slightly disappointed by your answer.

Y/n:"But...I like to think of it as practice of sorts If I ever become a parent in the future." Annie's face lit up with a small smile growing on her face.

Annie:"I suppose that's a good enough answer." Annie gave you a cute smile before you were told about the arrival of Gabi and the others.

Y/n:"Well we should give our guests a visit." Annie simply nodded before you and Annie made your way outside to see Gabi, Zofia, Udo and Falco. "Hope you don't mind but I brought a guess with me."

Zofia:"It's the female titan!!" Zofia ran up to Annie as she inspired to be the next female titan.

Annie:"Oh hey ummm..."

Y/n:"Haha no need to be so shy Annie, after all she might take your power one day." Annie simply nodded as the others walked over.

Gabi:"So what we going to do today?!"

Y/n:"Come I'll take you somewhere more interesting." The group got excited looks as they ran over to you. You moved your hand directing one of the soldiers nearby to come over.

W.S.O.U soldier:"Yes commander??"

Y/n:"Would you mind taking these 4 to the training yard please."

W.S.O.U soldier:"Yes sir!! How about you??"

Y/n:"Oh I just need a quick word with Mrs.Leonhart." With a simple nod from the soldier the group of 4 followed him to the training area. You got up and walked over to Annie placing your hands on her shoulders. "Hey you alright seem really tensed up??"

Annie:"Yeah I know sorry I just struggle with those younger then me."

Y/n:"Hey you've been pretty good in the past so don't worry so much."

Annie:"It's not that it's just that they remind me of me and the others in training all too much."

Y/n:"Oh...well I won't rush you into anything your not entirely comfortable with alright."
