Chapter 15:The truth part 2

It was now night and you left your room and made your way to the door. You heard two members of the military police outside talking about something. You went up to the door to listen to there conversation.

Mp 1:"You heard about the lieutenant's??"

Mp 2:"No what happened??"

Mp 1:"2were found dead in an alley. One had his head completely of his shoulders and without a hand."

Mp 2:"Why Would someone do that??"

Mp 1:"They were known for being corrupt so it could've been a rival gang sending a message."

Y/n thoughts:"Hmm seems that what I did earlier had an effect. Good they think a gang did it though. Keeps suspicions away from me."

You open see the door after the patrol was gone and begun sneaking around the barracks before leaving and making your way to a brothel that the lieutenant was known to go too.

Y/n thoughts:"This is going to be a pain in the ass isn't it. As long as Annie is safe in the barracks I don't mind."

You reached a bridge that was close to the barracks. You started to walk over it before you were met by someone in the middle of the bridge. She had a hoodie on and walked over to you and grabbed your ear. Her hood came down to show it was Annie.

Annie:"What the hell y/n!! You've been here for one day!!"

Y/n:" I'm sorry Annie but I ha—" Annie proceeded to slap you to stop you from finishing your sentence.

Annie:"Can't you just stay out of danger for one night. For me y/n, please." She looked down to the ground as you moved your hand to her cheek and moved her head back upwards.

Y/n:"You know I'll come back so calm down. I'm only going to get some information and that's all." You gave her a reassuring smile and a quick kiss on the cheek.

Annie:"Where are you even going anyway??l

Y/n:"Oh just to a brothel where the lieutenant is known to go too." Annie turned and faced you with a serious look in her face before walking over to you and grabbing your hand.

Annie:"Well I'm going with you." You quickly looked down to her.

Y/n:"No Annie I don't want you to get hurt!! Stay here!!"

Annie:"Well your going to a brothel so I want to make sure no women there get any ideas." You couldn't stop yourself from laughing out loud.

Y/n:"Hahahahahaha!!" Annie stood on your foot.

Annie:"What's so funny?!" She said angrily.

Y/n:"I love it that you get jealous so easily Annie. No wonder why I love you so much." Annie blushed before she composed yourself. You had a big smile on your face while you walked to the Brothel. You didn't bother to argue with her as you knew that she would come along anyway.

Timekip:

You and Annie were outside if the Brothel  by this point.

Y/n:"This is the place. Dirty places like this are the one thing which piss me off."

Annie:"Yeah I guess your right. But can't they say the same about the people we've killed??" You looked down to her before looking back at the entrance.

Y/n:"Professionals have standards." You looked down to her before putting your mask on." You should put your hood up and keep your head low just incase."

She nodded at you and put her hood up. You walked into the Brothel in front on Annie before walking to the bar. You sat down in the corner one and begun looking around for the man.
