Denki's POV

I startled, but only for a moment before thinking to myself, quickly weighing the pros and cons. Finally, I said, "Fine, I'll do it."

It may have been the biggest mistake of my life and my classmates looked at me with disbelief, but it didn't matter anymore since I'd made up my mind.

Mr. Aizawa smiled at me, "good choice kid."

Shinsos POV

I grinned when I was told that a friend of mine had successfully planted a note into Kams pocket. As I made my way back to base, I couldn't help but laugh quietly to myself. The walk to base didn't take as long as usual, which surprised me but I didn't think much of it. Knocking a rhythm on the door, it opened, revealing a smiling Toga in the doorway. "I heard about your new friend!" she was barely containing her excitement.

Before I could answer her, my phone rang. Toga must have realized who was most likely calling, cuz she left, skipping back to her room. I practically bolted to my room, closing the door as gently as possible, before answering.

Denki's POV

I excused myself, and made my way back up to my dorm to start the plan. My hands were shaking as I typed in the number. I took a deep breath before clicking call.

The phone only buzzed once before someone picked up, "hello?" came the voice from the other end.

"Uh, hi, it's Kam!" I tried to sound as carefree as I could and was relieved when my voice didn't crack.

"Oh hey!"

We talked for a bit and I started to relax, he wasn't as bad as I thought he was. I was surprised to find that he could make me laugh and I couldn't help but smile.

Suddenly, he cleared his throat, "Um, I was wondering if," he took another deep breath before continuing, "if you would be interested in maybe, uh meeting at that one cafe in town, at around 8 tomorrow?"

My eyes widened, and he must have taken my silence the wrong way for he quickly added, "you don't have to."

"No, uh I would love to!" I knew that accepting the invitation would be the best way to continue the plan.

I could tell he was smiling on the other end when he said, "ok, i'll see you tomorrow then!"
