Denki's POV
A hush fell over the class as I answered the phone.
The voice of Shinso rang out throughout the quiet room. He was speaking so fast that I found it hard to understand what he was saying until finally I said, "slow down man, I can't understand a thing you're saying."
He paused, inhaled, then repeated, "there's a drive-in movie playing on Friday that I was wondering if you'd...um care to join me for?"
I couldn't help but smile, "sure, i'd love to!"
A feminine voice was heard in the background and Shinso was quick to say goodbye and end the call.
3rd person
Kaminaris classmates' faces were a mixture of disbelief and confusion. Mina was the first to speak, stating what everyone was thinking, "wow...you're actually doing really well..."
Denki's POV
I grinned at her and shrugged, "it honestly wasn't that hard, I just had to be myself."
After that, Mr. Aizawa let us have a brainstorming session. We spent most of the time coming up with an alter ego to go more with my part. Momo offered to take me clothes shopping, in hopes to find a nice outfit to wear. Deku frantically took notes as I explained the day before. I still had no idea what Shinsos quirk was, and my classmates made me promise to try to find out. In the end, I was confident about my new persona.
"So you're using the name Kami right?" Deku asked and I nodded.
"Oh! What if you're a college student studying to become a police officer!?" Kiri suggested, rather enthusiastically.
"No, that would make him nervous. The whole mission would be ruined," Tsuyu replied.
Kiri seemed disappointed until Mina added, "but, I think that it would be a good idea to have him claim to be a college student!"
"Maybe just don't mention what profession you're attempting to pursue?" Sero mentioned.
We all agreed that that was probably a good idea.
