Denki's POV

We talked for hours but it only felt like minutes and soon he had to go. I felt the urge to beg him to stay but refrained, knowing that if any of my classmates saw him, they'd most likely attack him.

(A week later)

Denki's POV

I was finally discharged and was able to attend classes again. Shinso visited me everyday and slowly, our bond returned. He stood by my side as we walked towards the exit, his hand placed on my lower back for support, just in case I fell. We made light conversation as we made our way through the doors, but suddenly he went stiff and silent, his eyes pinned on a spot in the air. My gaze lifted to see what he was seeing and my eyes widened. Hawks stood on a building, his eyes focused on us with a frown. After a moment, Hawks flew down and came to a stop in front of us and looked at Shinso, "they're coming, it wouldn't be wise for you to stick around."

Shinso nodded and my stomach dropped, "the heroes???"

Hawks glanced at me and nodded, "yeah, they heard about you being released and wanted to make sure you got to the dorms safely."

"I'm so sorry Kam, but I'm gonna have to leave you," Shinso said looking at me with sympathy, "I'll see you later," and with that, he walked off and disappeared into the shadows.

"Don't worry," Hawks said, "I won't tell anyone about you two, just don't make stupid choices."

"I wasn't too concerned," I replied, shrugging, "I mean, you didn't freak out when you saw us together and didn't arrest Shinso."

(an hour later)

I collapsed on my dorm bed, happy to be back in a familiar place. The bakusquad hung back awkwardly near the door.

(15 minutes later)

The Bakusquad had left me to have some time alone, though at the hospital I'd had enough alone time to last me for a while. My phone vibrated as an incoming text came in. I looked at the sender and clicked on the message as quickly as possible when I saw it was Shinso.

The text read "Can you call?"

I clicked the call button and it only rang twice before Shinsos voice could be heard, "hey Kam, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up tonight near that abandoned warehouse at the edge of town?"

I smiled, "sure, i'd love to!"

A knock on my door made me pause and I quickly said goodbye and ended the call. "Come in," I called and the door opened, revealing iida.

"Mr Aizawa is requesting that you attend the classes today," he said and I nodded.

"Yeah sorry, i'll be there soon."

Toga's POV

As soon as Denki Kaminari hung up the phone, I turned to smile at Shiggy, "the plan is in motion."

He nodded, "good job, Shinso will thank us later."
