Y/N POV

The last bell rang and it was finally time to leave. The teacher had told me and Peter that next time something like that happens, we need a note from the nurse or they'll mark us as late. We just agreed. We exited the class and headed towards my locker.
"What was that all about?" I asked, looking over at him.
"What do you mean?" Peter asked, confused.
"Oh ya know. Writing a note about meeting in private and making me think something is wrong, only to scare the hell out of me and then fuck me senseless." I explained.
Peter just chuckled.
"I told you earlier, darling. Plus, I love you. And don't tell me you didn't enjoy it." He said.
"I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, mister. But... No more in school... Or anywhere other than our rooms..." I said.
"I don't make any promises, love." He said.
  "Hey Y/N." Opal said.
  "Hey Opal." I said.
"So... Where were you running to earlier? Definitely not in the direction of your last class." Opal said.
"Why don't you mind your own business bitch." Peter snarled.
I frowned and looked over at him.
"Shut it goth boy. I ain't talking to you." Opal said.
I could see Opal was hesitant/scared of him. I mean nearly everyone in this school was. But she seemed... Worse. Did Peter hurt her? No he wouldn't... Would he?
"I just had to get something from my locker before my last class. I was scared of being late. I mean I was because... I ugh... Sprung my ankle and Peter had to take me to the nurses." I explained.
"Oh my gosh. Are you ok? Do you think you'll make it to work tonight?" Opal said, shocked.
"Oh yeah... I'll be fine by work. But I better go. I totally forgot about work. I'll cya, Opal. Also, you think TK is coming to school tomorrow?" I asked.
Opal shrugged and looked down.
"If they feel better. Maybe you could call them tonight after work." Opal said.
I nodded.
  "I will." I said.

Peter's POV

I felt rage steaming through me. Who cares about that jackass, TK! They're rude and selfish! And Opal... Oh gosh I could just... End her life right now. She was so irritating. All of Y/N's friends are. And now that she's hanging out with Harley... Ugh I can't win, can I!?
"Hey Peter, would ya wanna ride to the coffee shop with me?" Y/N asked.
  "Mhm." I muttered.
Y/N walked off.
  "Cya Opal." She said.
  "Bye." Opal said.
I gave Opal one last glare and then continued to follow Y/N. We exited the school and walked over to her car. We hopped into the car.
"Why don't you like Opal?" Y/N asked.
I looked over at her.
  "Hmm?" I mumbled.
"I mean I know you don't like a lot of people, other than me, but you've been giving Opal a lot more glares today." Y/N said, starting the car.
"You're friends are assholes." I said.
Y/N sighed.
  "Nevermind." She muttered.
She pulled out of the school and headed towards the coffee shop. Once we got there and parked, we walked in.

Y/N POV

Jen was happy to see me. I clocked in and made Peter his usaul before he said his goodbyes.
"How have you been?" Jen asked.
"Meh... I'm getting a little overwhelmed with homework and friends." I said.
"Ah yes. The teenage life. I know exactly what it's like. I hope things get better for you. You're a good kid, Y/N. And definitely my favorite employee." Jen said, chuckling.
I chuckled a little as well.
  "Thanks Jen." I said.
Just then the bell rang. I looked up and saw my sister.
"Hey girl. How's it going?" She asked.
"It's slow. And what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I decided to stop in and say hi. Plus, dad's drinking again. And I'm also bored out of my mind." Steph explained.
Jen went to take dishes to the back.
"Mk. So you aren't going to any parties or out with any friends?" I asked, confused as hell.
"Nah. I've decided to try and avoid parties now, only because Andy is usaully at a majority of them. And my girls are all busy right now." Steph said.
"So your first thought was coming to bother me?" I asked.
Steph sighed.
"Y/N, I need your help." She said.
"Oh? Is that so? In what way?" I asked.
"I need a job." She said.
  "Seriously?" I said, shocked.
"Yup... I wanna try and change my behavior... And actually do something useful in life other than being the town slut." Steph muttered.
"Wow. Ok. Um... Well I get off in 2 hours.... I'll meet you at home to help. Mk?" I explained.
"Ok. For now I'm gonna get a large iced vanilla latte." Steph said, pulling out her wallet.
"Ok." I said, ringing her up.
After Steph left, I continued to work and help get stuff ready for closing. Soon I was headed to my car and then headed home. I walked into the house. Dad was passed out at the kitchen table. And I found Steph sitting her room, looking at Instagram.
"Ok. What type of jobs were you thinking?" I asked.
She smiled and sat up.
"Well, nothing with too much physical labor. Something relaxing and something that accepts high-school drop outs." Steph explained.
"Ok. I'll look up some stuff online." I said, pulling out my phone.
