Y/N POV

We had pulled into town after an hour of driving. I looked around in awe as if I hadn't been out in public in years.
"Is there anywhere you'd like to go first, love?" Peter asked.
I looked over at him, unable to control the smile that came onto my face.
"Is there a mall?" I asked.
"A small strip mall in the main part of town, which isn't too far from here." Peter said.
"Ok! But first, is there any coffee shops or a small cafe?" I asked.
"Yeah. There's this one cafe just down the road from here called Cindy's Place. I've never been there though. Just walk past it after going to the local pet store." Peter explained.
"Yes! Let's go! Im sure it'll be amazing!" I said enthusiastically.
Peter chuckled. Soon he pulled over and we got out. As we walked, he had grabbed my hand and I could slightly sense that he was worried or afraid. I gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and smiled at him. He smiled back.
"Everything's gonna be ok." I said, in a quiet voice.
  "I know." He muttered.
Soon we turned into the cafe and the smell of freshly baked goods and coffee filled my nose. I looked over at the menu and boy, did they have a lot. Me and Peter looked over it for a few minutes, while also waiting in the small line. Eventually we decided on our things and then ordered. After getting our drinks and small desserts, we sat down.
"I can't believe you've never stopped in here at least once." I said, after taking a bite of my (insert dessert/food item).
"I'm not really one to go out in public a lot." Peter said.
"I mean, I don't blame ya. I would have done things like this more often if I didn't have so many shifts at the diner and wasn't exhausted all the time." I said.
"Hey, now you can. You just have to ask, darling." Peter said.
He was right. I still, kinda missed my job. And my friends. But... I wasn't tired anymore. I didn't have to stress about rent. Or listen to my roommate 'studying'. And now that Peter was allowing me out into town, I could start a new life. I looked over at Peter. Maybe a family? Is that wrong? After everything. Would... That be wrong to abandon my old life and start a new life with my crazy ex? It's not like I have any family, other than my sister.
  "Peter." I said.
  "Yes?" He answered.
"Will I ever be allowed to visit Steph?" I asked.
Peter was silent. He looked like he was thinking.
"Maybe one day. For now, don't dwell on it." He said.
I nodded, glancing off to the side.

TK's POV

We had been driving for over an hour now, stopping at a gas station since Lucy had to use the bathroom and we kinda needed gas.
"Hey TK. What happens if Y/N doesn't wanna come home?" Steph asked, approaching me.
I shrugged.
"I... I guess we let her stay." I said.
"And what happens if she was kidnapped?" She asked.
"We call the police and put the bastard in jail forever." I growled.
"Why did this happen again? I swear. We did everything to prevent that freak from finding us and he still managed to." Steph said, pacing back and forth.
  "Who knows." I said.
"Ok guys. Let's get this show back on the road." Lucy said, walking over to us.
I nodded and we all got back in the vehicle, and getting back on the road.

Y/N POV

Me and Peter had now headed over to the strip mall. As we walked around the small stores, looking, I could tell Peter was relaxing and starting to worry less. He was getting better and I was proud of him. I'm shocked and glad.
"Oh we should check out that antique store you mentioned back in the cafe." I said.
"Sure thing. It's just around that corner up there actually." He said.
  "Mk." I said.
Once we made it to the store I walked in and was in awe. This place looked amazing! Cutely decorated too! There were tiny trinkets and more. And this place was bigger than I had expected it to be. When Peter said antique store, I was thinking a small little shop.
"You didn't tell me how big this place was. I could spend all day here!" I said, turning to face him.
"Well it's a good thing we have all day, my love. You take your time. We are in no rush." He said, smiling softly and using one hand to cup the side of my face.
I smiled back, leaning into his touch.
"Thank you Peter. But now, let us continue!" I said, turning and walking off towards a shelf with small figurines.
Peter chuckled, following close behind.

TK's POV

"Damn this dude lives far as fuck. I'm missing my study session with Dylan now..." Lucy complained.
  "Pfft. Study session." Don muttered.
"He does indeed live far. What did he do? Travel back and forth each day just to see Y/N?" Steph asked.
"He's insane. I feel like he may have stayed in a nearby hotel or some shit." I said.
"Sounds more reasonable than driving 8 hours a day just for a date." Don said.
  "Man he's desperate." Lucy said.
"And why? Why is the bastard so desperate to be with my sister!? What does he want from her!? Fuck, there's a million other girls out there who'd probably date his scrawny ass but heaven forbid he do that. No, instead he's gonna fucking track my sister down and kidnap her." Steph said.
"Well, I'm not to sure why either." I said.
"Well, we only got what, 2 hours left to go? Soon we'll figure out the real answer." Don said.
Yeah. Real answer. If the asshole will talk.
