"gather around my children!" tony hollered from the living room.

the team came filing into the room, annoyed from being disrupted by tony's antics. everyone took a seat around the couches and waited for tony to explain himself.

"i may have made something that needs to be tested out." tony started.

"well get on with it, stark." y/n demanded.

tony revealed his hand that he was hiding behind his back. he opened his palm to show to tiny vile of pink liquid sitting in his hand. the team stared quizzically at the bottle then up at tony.

"what is it?" steve asked.

"it's a love potion."

the team bursted out in laughter. they couldn't believe what tony said.

"the man finally went insane." natasha quipped, causing everyone to laugh harder.

"dude! it works!" tony argued, shoving the bottle closer to their faces.

"no one is going to drink that thing, tony. nice try though." bruce added as everyone started to get up from their seats.

y/n gazed at the shiny liquid. she questioned what harm it could do. it wasn't death juice; just a little love potion.

"i'll drink it." y/n offered.

the team whipped their heads around to stare at the girl.

"thank you!"

tony popped the cork out of the vile and handed it to y/n. she sighed, plugged her nose, and quickly gulped down the liquid. her teammates gasped around the room.

"do you feel any different?"

"are you gonna be in love with us now?"

"don't start kissing everyone!"

"please don't confess your feelings to any of us."

the teams pleas and questioned were drowned out. the only thing y/n could hear was her own heartbeat. she gazed at the tv remote in front of her with lovestruck eyes.

"you okay?" tony asked.

"this remote is gorgeous! it's such a lovely device, tony!" y/n exclaimed.

"she's in love with a remote! now i've seen it all!" steve chuckled as he left the room.

"let me run some tests on you to see how it works." tony said as he led her to the lab.

y/n plopped down on a chair and stared in awe at the bare wall in front of her. tony could only laugh at the girl in front of him. she looked like a puppy and it was truly a sight to see.

tony hooked her up to some wires and checked his devices. her vitals were going wild. her heart rate was through the roof and somehow her heart grew in size.

"i really love everyone on the team so much!" y/n exclaimed.

"oh yeah?"

"yeah! everyone is so pretty and really nice. i just love and appreciate them all."

tony laughed which made y/n's eyes light up, "you have an adorable laugh."

"you're talking crazy, y/n."

"no it's true! you have so many amazing things about you, including your laugh! you're talent and intelligence is other worldly. on top of all that, you're handsome and very witty and pretty funny."

  tony stays quiet but y/n continues, "even though you can be a jerk sometimes, deep down, you care about everyone so much. that's what i love most about you. your ability to care is my favorite thing."

tony tries his best to ignore y/n's crazy talk but everything she says strikes a nerve. no one had ever said such kind things to him. hearing her utter those words made him happier than he wanted to admit.

"okay, love dove, drink this reversal juice for me and let me know when it hits."

he handed her the liquid and she drank it down quickly. y/n's lovestruck expression slowly faded to her normal resting face.

"how we feelin'?"

"like an idiot!" y/n covered her face with her hands.

"well you did confess your love to a television remote." tony chuckled as he finished his sentence.

y/n went quiet for a minute, thinking over her next words very carefully, "tony, i meant what i said."

"you're in love with the remote?"

"no, jerk. i meant what i had to say about you. every words came straight from my humongous heart! i care about you a lot and i may or may not have developed feelings for you." y/n confessed as her cheeks burned bright red.

"y/n, i think you are such an amazing person. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't madly in love with you. i have been since you joined the team."

y/n replied by placing a sweet kiss to his lips. the moment only lasted a few seconds before their teammates killed the vibe.

"so that potion really does work, huh?" steve said sarcastically.

"shut up, grandpa!" y/n retorted as she buried her face in tony's chest.

"i had to get her to confess her feelings somehow so a love potion was the only answer." tony added which caused everyone to laugh.

y/n tried to act angry but she failed. she couldn't hide her joy from finally being with the man she loved.

tony cherished the moment with her and kicked himself for making the potion sooner.

"excellent plan, stark."
