"i'm sorry, wanda. my mind is just somewhere else right now. i can't stop wondering if i'm making the right decision or not."
"you love him right? if you love someone enough, you know it's the right decision to spend the rest of your life with them. you two have known each other forever, literally. if it helps, i've seen the way you two look at each other. the gazes are full of love and admiration. you guys are meant for one another."
as soon as she stops, natasha walks into the room telling us it's time for me to walk down the isle. bruce is standing outside the door waiting to walk with me.
since i became an avenger, bruce has acted like a father figure to me. my parents died when i was very young and bruce took me under his wing and taught me about science and about my powers.

^wedding dress
nat and wanda help lay the train of my dress out so it doesn't get tangled. knowing my luck, i would trip while walking down the isle.
the girls lock arms with steve and vision and walk down the isle, closing the doors in front of bruce and i.
bruce gives me a reassuring smile, "you look amazing, kiddo. you two are meant for each other. yin and yang. when you get up there, look into his eyes and reminisce on all your memories together leading up to this day."
the large doors open and bruce and i start walking. my eyes scan the seats, smiling at our friends. thor has tears in his eyes, and steve salutes me.
we get up to the alter and my eyes finally meet with loki. he has tears in his eyes and he smiles at me.
bruce let's go of my arm and i stand beside the love of my life. nicky fury got ordained to be the minister for our wedding. after his long speech he finally gets to the 'i do's'
loki laufeyson, do you take y/n l/n to be your lawfully wedded wife? through sickness and through health? til death do you part?"
loki looks at me with loving eyes, "i do."
"y/n l/n, do you take loki laufeyson to be your lawfully wedded husband? through sickness and through health? til death do you part?"
as he says these words, my mind starts to wander on all the memories loki and i have shared...

"thor i really don't think this is a good idea. your brother doesn't even know me, what do you think is going to come from this?" i ask.
"hopefully, he sees a beautiful girl like yourself willing to help him be a good person. if not, then we give up."
once i got to loki's cell, he quickly stood up and walked to the window.
"hello, princess y/n. what brings you here, sweet girl?" loki asks.
"i'm here to offer you help. are you willing to be a good person, loki?"
"what's in it for me if i do?" he smirks.

"lady y/n! wait up!" i whip my head around to see loki running after me.
"yes, loki?"
"i was um, wondering if you would accompany me on a date to watch the sun set at the top of the castle."
i contemplate for a moment on how mad thor would be about me going on a date with someone he told me not to fall in love with, "i'd love to!"
"i'll be by your room in an hour, darling, be ready!"

"NO!" i screamed as i watched loki be impaled by the sword he stabbed through the large monster.
i ran over to loki, cradling his dying form in my arms.
"no no no! loki please love. please stay with me!" i sob
"darling, it's going to be okay. you will be strong and go on without me." he replies through strained breaths
"i'll tell odin what you did here today." i smile.
"i didn't do it for him, my love." he says, then taking his last breath and dying in my arms.

"loki?"
"did you miss me, darling?"
i walk up to loki and slap him in the face
"that was for dying," i then plant a quick but passionate kiss to his lips, "and that was to show how much i've missed you."
he picked me up and spun me around, "i've missed you incredibly much, beautiful. and since i've been 'away', there's something i've been meaning to ask you," he pauses, "my sweet y/n, i know it's been a few years but in that time i've been away i haven't stopped thinking about you. i love you so much and i wish to spend the rest of my life with you. you are my world."
"of course i'll marry you. but please don't die on me again."
"i promise, my love." he places the ring on my finger and kisses me.
present day
i snap out of my trance and quickly respond with i do.
"i now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride."
as soon as nick stops, loki pulls me close to him and kisses me softly. our friends all stand and cheer as we share our first kiss as a married couple.
loki and i join hands and walk down the isle. smiling at each other the whole way.
we leave the chapel and go to my dressing room so i can change out of my dress for the reception.
"y/n, i love you so much gorgeous girl."
i wrap my arms behind his head and our foreheads bump. we both chuckle, "i love you so incredibly much my darling husband."
