Yellow cake

Ingredients:
1 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup white sugar
¼ cup butter
½ cup milk
½ tablespoon and
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ eggs

Instructions:
Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating just to combine.
Finally, stir in vanilla.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease the pan and pour in the batter
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Optional: add food colouring to buttercream frosting and frost the cake, add sprinkles, etc

And voilà! Your delicious yellow cake is now ready!
