Kyoka Izumi, Gin Akutagawa and Yukichi Fukuzawa

___________

Kyoka Izumi and Y/n

The agency has accepted both of us in some sense. She didn't know me well from the port mafia, which I was happy of. This was only because when she thought of the mafia, she would most likely remember bad things and I didn't want to be associated with any of that.

Kyoko was very quiet, even compared to me. One day we went out to grocery shopping with Evelyn. She would be fine on her own but I decided to tag along and somehow Kyoko came as well. I don't honestly know how it happened but I didn't mind extra hands to carry things back, though, Evelyn could do it all on her own if she wanted to or if I asked her to.

"Do you have any particular sweet you like?" I asked from Kyoka. I didn't know much of her. "Evelyn-san bakes often and well, you know where those bakings end up when I bring them to the agency".

She chuckled lightly. I also smiled a bit, I was happy to see her smiling and happy that I was able to make her smile, even if it was for a mere moment. "I don't have any specific preferences what comes to sweets".

"That's good then", I didn't know whether Evelyn was able to truly enjoy anything but she seemed to always bake when given a chance, so, I assumed that was something that she liked. "Evelyn-san will most likely bake something tonight and I'll bring you some of it when it's ready".

"That'd be nice, thank you".

__________

Gin Akutagawa and Y/n

TW: Knives

"You know, the smaller the knife, the more it feels like throwing darts, so, it's easier".

Gin looked disappointed. I guess my explanation wasn't enough of a reason why I had small knives instead of mediums that Gin carried. "Throwing darts isn't that easy, besides, the bigger ones are easier to aim in the sense that even if you miss slightly, you can still say you were on point".

I had to admit, that was a good point. "True, true but if you have a good aim you can hit a precise point nevertheless of the size".

This conversation was surprisingly common but it also scared many people. Some members of the port mafia stayed far away from the table that the we spoke around. Tachihara looked at us from few tables away making sure to keep his distance, "Those two... what the hell are they talking about now?"

I heard that question. I turned to look at him making him flinch, "We're debating whether a bigger bladed knife is better or a small bladed knife. What do you think, Tachihara-san?"

He looked at us for a while since Gin had also turned to him. "I-I- Keep me out of your weird conversations!" and with that he had ran away.

"Weird?" I repeated, "I don't think this is a weird conversation, very good, actually".

____________

Yukichi Fukuzawa and Y/n

I was vary of the boss of the detective agency for a long time. It wasn't like Mori had told me something bad about him to make me scared, I just didn't feel like he was someone I could approach. Evelyn wasn't vary of him, though, so I suppose there was nothing wrong with Fukusawa-san. He was just a regular man that I didn't seem to get along with.

One day I was out on a walk with Evelyn to make my endurance a bit better while the wound was still healing. "I demand more cookies if I walk back to the agency on my own", I told Evelyn who had promised this already and since she promised to do it only if I succeeded, it will be like that.

Then I saw Fukuzawa sneaking into an alley. I glanced at Evelyn before sneaking after him. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to expect since I knew very little of him as a person. "A secret meeting?" I wondered aloud staying against the wall and sneaking small peaks around the corner. Fukuzawa had kneeled down. "... What the...?"

Evelyn didn't say anything.

After this Fukuzawa turned around to the entrance of the alley. I quickly pulled my head back walking quickly to the other direction. As soon as Fukuzawa turned the corner I turned my head to see him one more time just to notice a cat. He was holding a black cat that was purring against him. "He's a cat person", Evelyn mentioned after seeing my wondering expression.

The next day

I knocked on Fukuzawa's door, "Fukuzawa-san, it's Y/n", I called.

"Come in".

I walked in with a small box with Evelyn walking after me. "Evelyn-san has been experimenting with moulds lately when making biscuits and I thought I'd bring some over". I opened the box to reveal cat shaped biscuits and the expected sparkling look on Fukuzawa's face was seen, as Evelyn earlier suggested.

He looked at me, "Thank you, Y/n and Evelyn".
