MIRABEL WAS PUTTING THE EMERALD SHARDS DOWN UPON THE DRAWER, she had saw the rats put them on her floor when she had walked in from being outside all day. She had completely forgotten this was the day that Isabela would get proposed to at dinner. All she cared about was the green shards she was laying out like some sort of puzzle.
She gasps when it all came together, it was herself standing in front of a cracked Casita. She stares at it in disbelief, was she really going to destroy this family? Her home? Is this why she didn't get a gift?
"Miraboo! Got your party pants on? 'Cause I..." her Papa stares at the green shards, Mirabel gasps and tries to cover them up along with the help from Casita.
They both stare at each other with funny expressions, "I broke into Bruno's tower, I found his last vision, the family's in trouble. The magic is dying, the house is breaking, Luisa's gift is fading. And I think it's all because of......me?" She rushes out to him and smiles at him nervously. He pushes past his daughter and stares at the vision, he doesn't say anything.
"Pa?" Desperately trying to grab his attention. She was scared, that he'd go to Abuela.
*DING DONG*
Both of them look at the door before turning to each other slowly in a small state of panic. "We say nothing. Abuela wants tonight to be perfect, until the Guzmáns leave, you did not break into Bruno's tower. The magic is not dying, the house is not breaking, Luisa's power is not fading." He whispers quietly before turning her towards the door with gentle yet firm eyes. "No one will know. Just act normal, no one has to know."
The door squeaks open, "ho!"
Their eyes slowly turn to the corner to see Dolores standing on the other side of the house staring right at them with a surprised expression and whispers, "I know." Before scurrying off towards the dining room.
"She's gonna to tell everyone." Mirabel says huffing, this was going to go greaaat.
"Time to eat!" Abuela calls to everyone.
"Mièrcoles." Her Pa whispers.

"The Guzmáns and the Madrigals together will be so good for the encanto." Abuela says to everyone at the table. Mirabel turns her attention away from everyone else before staring Dolores who is holding her breath. It was a stare down.
Mirabel pours the food into her bowl keeping eyes locked with her cousin's. "AvOCaDo." Mariano offers smoothly to her, she gasps quietly before grabbing the avocado and sees her whispering to Camilo.
