I Deserve

Vikram's POV 

Aishu is my first and only love. It was hell breaking up with her. I didn't expect to see her again, thought she would be back with her family. I know they love her so much, can't stay angry. Moreover it's their fault, they would curse themselves.

I was surprised to see her at my home, I was scared that she is here for revenge and would my parents. After knowing she really loves them, I feel relaxed. 

What she said is true, she doesn't have to do anything for revenge, just tell mom and dad what we did to her. Dad would arrest us and make sure we get punished even though he would have to face shame. Mom would get heart attack. They can't bear me and Nikki do such things.

 She doesn't have any intention of revenge though she hates me which is understandable. Mom and dad loves her. Mom easily trusts people but dad... no one can fool him. 

I don't know how and why dad trusts Aishu so much in short span. Anyone would love her after knowing her but how did it happen in short span?

He loves and cares for  her so much like a daughter. When I fell in love with Aishu I always imagined her living in my home, bonding with my parents like a daughter not daughter in law. Now that she is in my home, it's far better than my imagination. 

I curse God everyday for creating Aishu in that family. We would have lived happy life otherwise.

I decided to be normal with her but I loose control when she sees me like a stranger or with anyone. 

Aishu's health condition is not good. She is throwing up and fainting. Is she in depression? Aishu said it's stomach bug. Vishal said she is fine, needs rest and no stress.

She is looking ok now.

I'm jealous of Mahesh, he is perfect in every way. He likes Aishu so much to my displeasure. That's why I don't like him. I don't like Sushanth too but that's different. He doesn't seem to be good person.

I have been busy these days tracking arms dealer's right hand. I have been working on it for the past six weeks. I developed latest app during my training, using words of our choice, we can track anyone using those words.

That's why I wasn't posted as ACP immediately after training. I'm assigned to find arms dealer Ibrahim Rehman. I'm close to finding his right hand Balwant Shikawath. 

I didn't see much of Aishu these days.

I tracked him to Chandigarh. From my informants I learnt he would be meeting his girlfriend in Chandigarh.

I flew there. According to our sources he would come to a bar. Our team and undercover cops are inside. We didn't inform local police, I can't trust anyone.

I was on the way when I saw Aishu, she looked so gloomy and angry. 

Mahesh teased me.

I was surprised when she said, she knows why I'm here.

 There is no way she would know.

She dragged me to a table on the other side from where she was sitting.

"See, she is here" she said. There were two girls and one boy

One girl seemed to recognize Aishu, she looked at Aishu in fear

"Hi Dr. Shalini Mathur, long time. How are you?" She asked bitterly

"Aishu..." she stammered

"It's Dr. Aishwarya Reddy for you" Aishu shouted

I looked at them in confusion. What kind of relationship do they share?

"Why are you looking like that? Go ahead, plan how to destroy me" Aishu said angrily looking at me

"What the hell are you talking? Who is she?" I asked angrily. I don't understand why she is talking like this. She was ok recently, no fighting 

"Come on Mr. Vikram Bhatia alias Sagar, you don't have to lie, I know" she said

"I don't know him" the other girl, Shalini said

"I know you both are Oscar actors, don't have to pretend anymore. I hate you both, how could you lie? Don't you know each other when you all planned and ruined my life.

She is your friend Vishal Kapoor alias Karan Mathur's so called sister, Shalini Mathur" she shouted

What? She is Vishal's sister? Did Nikki involve this girl too in her revenge? I have no idea

Aishu fell on her knees crying.

I tried to console her

"Stay away from me, I'm trying to be civilized in spite of everything you did but you are still planning against me" She cried

"I really don't know her, believe me. I'm here on mission" I  told her 

"Yes, mission to destroy me. What else is left? Just kill me"

"Trust me Aishu..." I can't see her like this 

"Don't utter a single word" she shouted 

Mahesh was at her side, held her arms

"Please take me from here" She begged Mahesh

I heard it's time!  in my Bluetooth 

I don't want Aishu in this place right now. There might be shoot outs 

"Mahesh, take her away now" I shouted hurrying 

There were just five bodyguards. It was easy to capture Balwant Shikawath. Four of his men died when we fired. We arrested Balwant along with one of his men.

We were taking them when Aishu came to me running. She hugged me and cried.

I hugged her back

"I was scared hearing gunshots" She said.

She is angry with me still cares for me. She still loves me

"Take them, I will join you" I told undercover police .

Aishu released me from hug

"Yes sir" they saluted and left taking the two. They smiled looking at me with Aishu. I have known them for more than a year, they have no idea about Aishu.

She looked at them in shock

"I'm sorry.... I ...."

"It's ok, I really don't know her. Who is she?" I  asked calmly. Though I know she would have been in AIIMS with Aishu as Karan' s sister

"Why don't you ask your friend? She is his sister after all. I'm wrong now but anyone would think like me after everything happened" She said angrily

Aishu is having mood swings, one minute she is caring next minute angry.

"Do you think I would hurt you now?" I asked

She nodded

I was hurt. It breaks heart when the person we love don't trust us. I totally deserve it

My phone rang

Superintendent of police asked me to meet him

"I'm coming" I  said

"I have to go. Go to your room safely with Mahesh" I  said

"I know you were hurt in the past because of me but trust me I would never let anyone hurt you, not even me. This time even blackmail wouldn't work on me" i said leaving

Nikki is responsible for everything. I stopped talking to her.
