Aishwarya's POV 

I asked Rehaan to come to Mumbai in secret. I met him during lunchtime in restaurant.

"Mom is seriously searching bride for you" i said 

"Yeah, atha(aunt) told me" he said casually 

"What kind of girl you want" I asked 

"I don't have any preference, I'm sure Atha will select a perfect girl for me"

I sighed. 

"Varna loves you" i said 

He looked surprised 

"She's been in love with you since college"

"I have no idea" he said 

"Do you like her? I mean not as a friend... like your life partner" I asked 

"I never thought of her that way"

"You will never find a girl like Varna, don't loose her. It's your decision but think about it" i said 

He nodded

"Rehaan, I will tell you something, promise me that you would never reveal to anyone"

"You don't have to plead Aishu, I wouldn't if you don't want" he said 

"Thank you Rehaan.  Before I tell, remember I love Vicky and he loves me so much" I said 

He smiled

I told him everything that happened between me and Vicky from how we met to today, also Nikki and Vishal's involvement. 

He was silent, he was overwhelmed with the information, it's too much to digest.

"I'm so sorry Aishu, I was not there when you needed me. You had to depend on strangers, they are your in laws but you didn't know that time" he apologized emotionally 

"You didn't know" 

"That's not an excuse Aishu. You were grown up like princess and...all the pain you endured...it's definitely our fault. We should have known better, you would never do that. Instead of reacting like that, we all should have sat and discuss about the situation" he said in tears

"That's in the past Rehaan, forget about it. I'm here to discuss about you and Varna. I told you because you need to know everything before you accept Varna. If you know after getting married to her, it might reflect on your relation.

Varna is a gem Rehaan, she was there in my bad phase, gave me emotional support, tried to keep me happy. Her heart was broken when she learnt about Vicky and her brother. She learnt on the day you got us married in temple.

She couldn't digest the truth, went to London. 

Varna is not responsible for whatever happened in our lives. She deserves happiness. Her happiness is in you. She would never tell about her love especially after what you and I went through. She would never marry anyone else Rehaan, she loves you so much. Can you accept her love?" I asked 

"I need time Aishu, it's not about Varna... I really like her... all the things you said is too much to digest. I will think of everything. I can marry her only when I get rid of these thoughts. I don't want these things to reflect on our relation. 

I don't know if I love her but I want her to happiness. If I believe I can give her that happiness, I will propose her" he said 

"Thank you Rehaan. I love you both, want both of you to be happy. Remember what mama says, 'never corrupt your brain by bringing past into present and ruin your peace and happiness'

Our family will be happy to have Varna, she will love everyone like a daughter. It's your decision Rehaan" I said 

He nodded 

"Aishu, are you really happy?" He asked

"It's natural to doubt after knowing the whole truth, trust me Rehaan, I'm really happy. Everyone looks after me like princess, just like our family" i said honestly 

"Come home with me this evening, it's Saturday anyway" he said 

I sighed

"This is my home now Rehaan"

"It's been so long, come with me Aishu..."

"Do you think I'm not happy here?" I asked 

"No, I believe you are happy. Just for a day, come. Everyone will be happy" he said 

"Ok, I will come. I have to go to hospital. See you evening" i said 

"I will book tickets" he said 

"Rehaan, if you didn't know the truth, what would you have done to take me?" I asked 

"Sorry Aishu, I will try to forget. I will go to your home now" 

He left and I went to hospital

I went home around 6pm, Vicky picked me. I didn't tell him about this afternoon. I want to tell after knowing Rehaan's decision.
