Already Punished

Mahesh's POV

Today is Saturday, we don't have much ward duties. We all are in our common room. David is giving presentation about his research work, Anand is studying the presentation papers and im making the room ready for presentation. 

Sushanth is sitting in his chair looking very angry. His face is swollen 

Aishu said, she would be late today and would get snacks and drinks.

I saw Vikram come inside

"Vikram? You are here?" I asked 

He didn't bother to answer, went to Sushanth, held his collar and started punching him

We all tried to stop 

"Who are you? Leave him, we will call the police" David said 

"Call whoever you want, I don't care. Im ACP" 

"Do you think you can do whatever you want if you are police. Leave him now" Anand shouted

Vikram clapped dramatically 

"Such a wonderful speech to save this bastard! Where were you when he was misbehaving with Dr. Aishwarya yesterday? You better stay away" Vikram shouted 

We all stood in shock

Sushanth misbehaved with Aishu? That's why she went home yesterday?

God! Vikram is going to kill him

I called Vishal to come to common room immediately and then called Aishu

"Five minutes" she said 

"Vikram is here..."

"Sushanth?" She said understanding

" I will be there. Please stop him before he kills" she said 

Vishal came and try to hold Vikram. Everyone is gathered outside the door watching

"Leave me Vishal, how dare he...."

"You bastard, how dare you badmouth my wife and my baby" he punched Sushanth throwing Vishal 

"You don't even deserve to take her name from that ugly mouth of yours. I  going to kill you, no one can stop me" Vikram is shaking in anger

We all tried to restrain him. Sushanth is on ground unable to get up, Vikram is kicking him

"Vikram, stop it now" Aishu shouted

She  tried towing him away

"Aishu, he...." Vikram is unable form words in anger

"Please" Aishu said 

He calmed down with her one look

"I will not kill him but I will arrest" Vikram said 

"No, His life will be spoiled. You already punished him" Aishu said 

She is thinking about the person who misbehaved with her. How can he do that to this girl? I cursed Sushanth

"He deserves" Vikram said angrily 

"Vikram, you are coming with me right now otherwise I will never talk to you" Aishu warned

Vikram nodded

"If you ever look at my wife or badmouth even god cannot save you" Vikram warned giving murderous glare

"Vishal, treat his wounds with your own hands" she ordered

"David, I'm sorry about it. Can we please have presentation next week?" She said 

"Sir, I'm taking off today" she said to Vishal and left with Vikram

We helped Sushanth sit down in chair. Vishal asked the nurse to get first aid kit and treated. Then took him in wheelchair with nurse.

"She is married?" Vinod stated after coming out from shock

"Pregnant?" Anand said 

"Her husband and HOD are friends?" Vinod said 

"You knew " Vinod asked me

"Hmm... Aishu's husband and HOD are childhood friends. Aishu Knows Dr. Vishal for many years. He sees her as own sister" i said 

"That's why..." Anand didn't complete his sentence. I'm sure he would be thinking of all the incidents between them

"Her husband is ACP? I have seen him in news recently, didn't remember face immediately ... now I can" David said 

"And her father in law is Director General of police" i said 

"We should be careful with her yaar!" Vinod said 

"Be normal, they all are very nice people. Just don't mess up" I said 

I could imagine what would have happened. I feel bad that I wasn't there for Aishu.
