When the limo pulled up I could already see that there were thousands of people waiting for the rest of us to show up. Everyone was screaming, cheers were louder than a boy band concert, and cameras were flashing nonstop.
Amanda glared at me. She didn't want to me to go. It meant whatever money I was making from my videos and the state wouldn't be going to her. That was fine. As long as I had whatever was left of it by the end of the month. Which was usually $20.
I shrugged and grabbed my phone out.
"Hey everybody! It's Cherry Pop and for those of you that don't know or are not here, I'm in Beverly Hill, California to meet four other people who are just like me. Popular content makers on Ft. Beat and Viral. If you don't follow these people I would recommend you do because from what I heard they are the bomb!" I announced as I logged in to my Chatterbox account.
"We're here!" The driver announced and opened the door to let me out. I grabbed my bag full of items such as my chargers for my devices and some makeup.
The driver grabbed my suitcase and escorted me to the door where another person was waiting. He looked to be in his mid-thirties, had a ton of plastic surgery, and dressed in a fine Italian suit with a dark blue tie. This guy meant business.
"Hey there Mr. Green, Thomas Crane, nice to meet you. Welcome to your new content house. The others haven't arrived yet so let's be sure to put a smile on our face to make them feel welcome, shall we?" Mr. Cranes assured, shaking my hand and flashing me a bright smile.
I nodded and waited for the next person to arrive.
"You shouldn't have chosen this. You don't belong here" Amanda hissed while glaring at her nails that were redone that very morning. I rolled my eyes and kept waving to my adoring fans. Every one of them had supported me in my drag queen career and beyond.
I was thrilled that I was here. This was a whole new level of hopes and dreams.
The next limo pulled up and a long-legged blonde stepped out with a full face of make-up and dipped expensive designers. She flashed the crowd a model smile and sashayed over towards the step where Mr. Crane and I were standing. Her driver pulled out several bags filled to the brim with more expensive items, handbags, make-up, shoes, hats, several pieces of filming equipment, and a pet carrier with a fluffy cat sleeping inside.
Oh, this girl looked like trouble. She giggled as she gave me a hug and air kisses then shook Mr. Crane's hand.
More limos followed over 45 minutes.
All three looked to be about the same age as me. The new guy looked pretty chilled, he wore a light blue jacket with a plaid shirt and black jeans, his hair was made him look like an average fuck boy.
The other two girls were pretty.
One had light skin and big blue eyes. They were warm and inviting. She wore a simple hippie-like top and shorts that showed off nice legs and knee-high sandals.
The other was one was light brown skin color. Her brown eyes screamed mischief and fun times. This girl wore a pants suit styled to make it look like a character that was from a famous tv show.
"Welcome everyone! Please follow me." Mr. Crane announced, clapping his hands together while rushing through the doors.
Here we go.
