God damn it! I knew that was going to come up! Why on the first day?
"Creators ready? Type your answers"
No one moved for what seemed like an eternity before Max's lips twisted into a small mischievous smile and his fingers tapped on his screen.
That rat bastard! Of course, he would call me out. It was typical of him. He did this through the song he wrote that got him famous and now he was going to tell our story. About our encounter in Paris, he'd romanticize about how he thought I was going to be the one before he found me lying naked in bed with Bryce with bottles of champagne and glasses everywhere.
I've regretted every single part of that night in that damn LA Hotel.
LA Hotel, the name of the song he wrote about me.
I wanted to cry.
"Kim"
"Kim"
"Kim"
"Kim"
...
...
...
...
"me"
I wanted to scream, show my imperfections such as my ugly sobs, to defend myself about what happened that night in LA.
But there were no excuses for what I did.
It was me who invited Bryce up to my room while I waited for Max to get back from the studio, it was me who order the alcohol even when I was told not to, it was me who wore that skimpy outfit that I burned days after Max made our break up public. It was me who hurt Max and it was Max who was taking his revenge served cold on a golden platter.
"Alright creators, the answer was...Kim" the screen announced as everyone glanced at me.
I felt overwhelmed and the room was starting to get smaller. I stood up and stormed off before going outside for a bit.
This wasn't fair.
"Kim please come back to the main room and finish the game otherwise risk your spot in the content house AND your contract with Strawberry Fashion"
I gulped, when Strawberry Fashion found out I got accepted into a content house, they offered me the next front cover of their new summer line fashion magazine and had refreshed my contract with them so that I would make more money whenever I vlogged about their clothes.
I took a deep breath and strutted my stuff back into the main room.
Everyone was still waiting for me as Jake read his card.
"This creator has lived all over the world and can give special facts about certain literature and nursery rhymes. This has got to be Bianca!" Jake announce while typing on his phone.
"Bianca"
"Well, since Jake has already placed his answer already, everyone else can too."
"Me"
"Bianca"
"Bianca"
...
...
...
"Bianca"
"Yeah it's me and I haven't all around the world, just certain places. For my dad's work. He's a published author and a professor for our local community college." Bianca explained while pushing bangs out of her eyes.
"So what places have you lived and what facts can you tell us?" Lisa asked while pouring more tea into Bianca's mug.
"Well, when I lived in France for a project my dad was doing in the catacombs, I had learned that the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill, it's actually about King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinnette and the fall of the French monarchy. Also, back when my dad was researching the American Revolution, I found out that Humpty Dumpty wasn't an egg, but he was a cannon that was used in both the English civil war and the revolution" Bianca explained while wringing her hands over and over again.
