"Hey guys Kimmie here! So, we're so close to the new content house that I'll be living in! I can hear the crowd cheering! I just want to thank everyone whose been on my channel! You guys have supported me through everything and anything! Kisses!" I announced on my Chatterbox account. My nerves were shooting through me.
I sat in the limo tapping my foot against the floor while chewing on my finger. I tried to avoid my nails. I just had them done. My makeup was simple, a light foundation, a little spray-on tan, some pink eye shadow, a light rouge, tulip pink lipstick. My outfit was a powder blue top with little rhinestones, from Andra, a white skirt from Lenny's, and a brand-new pair of Viv's flats. Jewelry, all gold, all from Gigi Catour.
I looked perfect.
"Ms. Jones. We're here. Please be careful when getting out. There is a slight dip in the driveway." My driver announced while rushing into the back to grab my bags.
I painted a smile and stepped out. The crowd roared as I waved to my fans and to everyone who showed up. As I started walking up towards the step. Two people were already there.
Mr. Crane was one of the CEOs of Ft. Beat and a man who looked like he got way too much plastic surgery. He stood next to a boy with very famine features. His dark skin reminded me of coffee without creamer, he wore silver highlighter and purple eyeshadow with a cherry red lipstick.
I knew him as Cherry Pop, the famous drag queen who originated from New York. Her work was incredible. Her make-up was always on spot.
I walked up the steps gave Cherry Pop air kisses and shook hands with Mr. Crane.
We waited for what seemed like forever when the next limo arrived. Another boy popped up and his looks took my breath away.
Not in a good way either.
The boy who stepped out was my ex. The boy who wrote a song about me.
Max Foster.
He still looked as good as the day I met him in Paris.
His green eyes were the color of leaves in the summer, his hair still dark, and fell in front of his left eye when he pushed his locks out of the way.
I don't think Mr. Crane and Cherry Pop saw the way Max froze when he saw me. I looked away ashamed of the reason behind our breakup.
Hopefully things won't be so tense when the other's get here.
