" What is wanted is not the will to believe, but the will to find out, which is the exact opposite. "

Thanks to the Kree Eternal's healing ability, Xenocide was recovering from the wounds and injuries which SCP-682 had done to him almost two hours ago. The ginger haired Faunus man instantly sat up, looked at the deceased homeless people around him, sadly bowed, and heavily sighed. Mar-Vell looked at his greatest granduncle and stood beside him, after Methu-Selah finished healing his friend.

" I'm sorry that had happened, " the pink Kree solemnly broke his silence. " Granduncle Methu, I could have... "

" You don't need to apologize, Mar-Vell, " the Kree Eternal calmly answered. " You spared your friend's life from a despicable SCP object who tortured my son in the past eight months. "

" Eight months?! " Mar-Vell raised his voice in shock. " Great Pama?! WHY?! "

" That's so horrible, Old Methu! " Xenocide added. " Why does he even do that?! Your child's life has been at stake! Why can't you even spare him? "

" I have always wanted to break him out of that containment and bring him out of this planet for good, " Methu-Selah gloomily lowered his head and seriously answered. " The 05 Council ordered me not to get near him. He still has the genes from 682, despite he's a Kree Eternal hybrid. They think he can be dangerous as that demon. "

Mar-Vell and Xenocide exchanged glances and surprised to hear from the ancient blue Kree's words. They never realized a father like him couldn't take care and raise his son who was created from a Foundation laboratory and facility. Methu-Selah looked up at the dark winter skies where the two dog stars were running along with their neighbouring constellation Orion like two happy sons quickly chasing their father. Xenocide felt sorry for the Kree Eternal and began composing his thoughts.

" I know it's too difficult to see your son suffering as the humans didn't allow you to be with him, " he empathized. " If I were in your shoes, I have my own freewill to break your bosses's rules, spare your son from that madness, and leave Earth. Definitely, you were just playing along with them and doing your job there out of obedience. I understand that, but you will find a way to reunite with him. "

" Indeed. I disguised myself as Dr. Jean Meir Montmartre, a French Foundation scientist, observed their activities, and did a lot of research and experimentation. I was one of the people who created a Kree Eternal and SCP-682 hybrid clone on the Fourth of July last year. "

" Woah, woah, woah! " Mar-Vell exclaimed in shock and shook his ancient relative's shoulders. " Slow down a bit! So, that poor kid who 682 mentioned is my youngest cousin by Kree blood?! "

" Yes..."

" Damn those humans and their monstrous goons! " the pink Kree angrily muttered. " Why would even that horrible lizard repetitively harm him?! This is so ridiculous and totally rubbish! "

" Mar-Vell, I talked to him a while ago, " Xenocide turned to his friend and answered, slowly standing up from his position. " The boy was nothing like 682. He had beaten the poor young soul to death for his satisfaction. "

" That's the most tremendous experimentation they did to my son, " the Kree Eternal sadly replied. " I was helplessly watching and hearing him suffer aside from having his nightmares. "

" Surely, it ain't your choice to do nothing. You're forced to do your job, I take it? " Mar-Vell asked and interjected his right hand. " Did you find someone whom you can trust to keep an eye on him? "
