" Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood."

– Marie Curie

(Present Time: New York City, 11:56 PM)

After the dinner and long conversation along with some family and friends, the young and alternate Carol Danvers  looked at the stars and deeply recalled of her future son's stories. She hoped one day to have a child like him in her home universe.

" Mind if I join with you, Colonel Danvers? " a familiar baritone voice called her out.

Carol looked at the blonde man in his thirties and warmly smiled at him. Amnon hovered himself and got into the rooftop when he sat beside her. He also joined her in stargazing.

" Aren't you supposed to join with your wife and get some rest, Director Montmartre? " his mother asked.

" Gourai just asked me to look after you before we had let you sleep in the other room. "

" I have never realised my future daughter-in-law was very kind and thoughtful, even my grandkids too, " she replied. " Perhaps, they took after the both of you. "

" Well, very much, " Amnon nodded in agreement and smiled. " But of course, they also inherited some traits from you and dad, too. "

" Exactly, " she nodded back and sighed. " Kid, I'm so sorry if I made them too eager and sleepless while we were talking about our stories. "

" Mom! You don't need to apologise! You're all good! Besides, they all liked to hear everything from us, " he chuckled and reasoned. " Infact, they'e all growing up. They do deserve to hear our experiences and point of view aside from me. It's part of life. "

" So, you're building a generation of story tellers after that prolonged Kree-Lizard war? "

" Yeah, pretty much, " Amnon sincerely smiled. " I'm very sure our stories will be spread like fire and be remembered. They  don't matter if they're good or bad, but at least they will learn and live from them. "

Carol heard her son's response and deeply thought as she smiled and glanced at the stars. Then, she calmly broke her silence, " You know what? Hearing your stories along with you,  your wife, Kai, and Skoúro found very interesting to me. I have never heard anything like these back in my home universe. "

" Really? Is that an understatement?! "

" No, you silly boy! " the blonde half Kree woman laughed and gently poked her son's strong shoulders. " Like no one could ever survived like that to be honest. You got bamboozled for several times, but you managed to get back in your feet. "
